Walking into Emilia’s Wood Wharf will be like entering a bustling trattoria in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region with an ambience created by natural terracotta-plastered walls bathed in natural light, rustic Iroko furniture, creamy crema marfil marble counters and hand-painted Italian tiles. Chefs making fresh pasta greet diners at the window in a special dedicated custom-made area visible from all sides. The thoughtfully designed interior cleverly combines a vibrant bar area with a custom table bocce for some competitive socialising in half the restaurant, with a cosy rustic restaurant section for more intimate moments and lingering conversations. The custom-designed kitchen and bar areas will be fully open for diners to watch the theatrics of drinks and dishes being freshly prepared. Outside, alfresco diners will enjoy views of the water and the green open spaces of Harbour Quay Gardens as well as the stunning architecture of surrounding Canary Wharf

It was very busy at Emilia’s but the staff worked very hard and seemed organised and efficient. The food was excellent. I have just been to Rome and the pasta at Emilia’s was just as good. All in all a very happy experience.

This was my second visit to Emilia’s, and it didn’t disappoint. I went with a group of friends for a late lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the food was first class.

We had the most delicious meal, the lamb ravioli was super and the bolognaise was the best I’ve ever had with al dente papadelle. The service was slightly slow at times but overall a brilliant meal, thank you.

Service very slow to take orders, left waiting, had to call waiter over, food came quickly though once ordered. Wine was nice. Food was ok, pasta a bit underdone. Better fresh pasta restaurants to go. Unlikely to return. Ladies Toilets were not clean, floors need to be cleaned, only a bit of handwash left in the bottle.

The food was very nice and we all enjoyed it along with the great service. The only thing was that the portion size between different main items was inconsistent, ranging from small to medium and that the tuna pasta was very spicy and anything to do with spice was not mentioned on the menu.

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekker verse pasta en een heerlijke Pannetone als toetje. Het andere toetje was al bereid (uit de koeling) dat was het enige minpuntje. Dat is vers toch echt lekkerder. Maar overall heerlijk gegeten!
