The Empire Rooftop is located on the top floor of the iconic Empire Hotel and overlooks the Lincoln Center complex. With over 8000 square feet of interior and exterior space, The Empire Rooftop has a seasonal open-air East Terrace, a West Terrace with a retractable roof cover, an Interior Main Lounge, and a seasonal Sun Deck. Enjoy our Signature Empire Sunset Cocktail, a light bite from our appetizer menu, and take a photo in front of the iconic neon sign to complete your experience.

Guests of all ages (accompanied by a Parent) are welcome on the roof until 8PM, when those under 21 must vacate.

Very poor. Got there, the elevator that goes straight to the restaurant was broken. The furniture is ripped off and the room smells. A construction was happening and the drilling was extremely loud. I left before ordering, but I assume the food is okay? The waitress was very cordial and apologized for the bad experience.

Perfect place to go before a show at Lincoln Center. Not a huge menu to choose from, mostly a tapas like menu, but it satisfied our needs. set more cocktail party style with a couch and table.

Good vibe. Great view. Out of the rain for pre-performance with gang. Fun drinks!

We grabbed a bite before a show at the Met. We sat on the rooftop area ( closed of course because it’s Winter) and it was a nice ambience. The night was foggy but you can still see the skyline as and lights of the city. Really beautiful. We had fancy cocktails ($21 !) and apps and finger foods. All very good and decent portions. The staff and our waiter were extremely friendly. Our waiter was so nice, very attentive and elegant and smiled all the time. Would definitely come again. Downside is that it’s pricey-hey it’s NYC and it’s directly across from Lincoln Center .

Very good food, excellent service, great view and super convenient to Lincoln Center. Excellent pre-show place.

The hotel overall was fabulous and the rooftop hotel restaurant was awesome. The staff were awesome both restaurants and hotel. We had a great time

We were very pleasantly surprised on our first visit to Empire Rooftop. Happy Hour was a surprise hit. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our only issue is that the food was delivered so quickly one after another order, that it got cold before we could eat it all. Service was very good as well. Our server went MIA for a while, but another filled our requests in the interim. All in all a very good experience. We will be back.
