   We couldn't book Contramar as it was booked way ahead of time, but Entremar is the sister restaurant with the exact menu. Way easier to book, but was full both upstairs and down when we were there so still try to book in advance. As many have recommended, go for the "Pescado a la talla 500 g" which which is a whole grilled fish and do the "Contramar" (half with red adobo rub & half with parley rub). Very well grilled and the two tastes are very distinct and flavourful. They recommend going with 1kg (double the order for about 1300+ pesos) for 2 people, but we were a table of 2 ourselves and preferred 500g (which was more than enough) so that we could try other menu items. Also would recommend their tuna tostadas, scallop tostadas, Tiritas Zihuatanejo (Mahi Mahi in lime juice with chile serrano & red onions), Sopes con esmedregal al pastor (King fish al pastor style), and Ensalada de berros y nopales (Watercress, cactus & radishes with lime vinaigrette). For dessert, I don't really recommend the Meringue with fresh strawberries as it's just a lot of cream (unless you like that), but I recommend the Fig Tart. Overall, a great restaurant and very worth trying as a nicer dinner! For reference, bill came out to be about $190 CAD. before tip. We definitely could've ordered less but wanted to try a lot!

   Food was great. Overall good experience. Just a bit too busy and shuttled a bit like cattle. Waiter was serviceable but could be a bit rude

   Everything we ordered was outstanding. The grilled fish with 2 rubs, the tuna tostada with crispy leeks, and the strawberry meringue were all standouts. Our server was fabulous and we had a great table overlooking the park. Perfect lunch.

   Excellent alternative to Contramar, the first of these restaurants. Go for the classics: tuna tostada, pescado a la talla, cheese flan.

   We were seated on the second floor with a beautiful view of a park - great for people-watching! The tuna tostadas were amazing (the hype is real) and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. If you like fresh and delicious seafood, don’t hesitate to reserve a table here!

    Excellent food and service! It’s the same menu as Contramar but it’s easier to get a table. Ask for second floor terrace seating.
