Located in a storied rum runner tunnel under Maria & Enzo's restaurant, Enzo's Hideaway is a speakeasy that pours Prohibition-era cocktails and serves hearty Roman-style dishes. The entrees include handmade pasta, fresh fish, chicken and steaks. The signature Salumi e Formaggi platter is made to order and features a selection of imported cured meats and aged cheeses. The Tunnel Bar is known for its hospitable bartenders, swinging music and humorous graffiti.
Inspired by Florida’s true history of rum running, Enzo’s Hideaway brings to life the tale of restaurateurs Enzo and Maria who discovered a hidden cavern used by bootleggers during prohibition as a place to store their haul. Enzo restored the space into his personal speakeasy where he would entertain friends and family.. Today, the aperitivo-style lounge focuses on keeping Enzo’s original concept at heart by serving great cocktails and Roman inspired cuisine, with service reminiscent of being at an Italian dinner.

Veronica was fantastic. Loved the bubbly sampler and the special twist on my spaghetti and meatballs. Being gluten sensitive is not easy but their gluten feee pasta was great and they substituted the meatball for grilled chicken. Thank you

What an amazing place. Can't believe we just now discovered it. The atmosphere is really interesting and fun. Designed as a speakeasy it is really a great experience. Italian style food, a lot at a reasonable price. The folks working there were friendly and easy to talk to. Be sure to visit the restroom. You will see why once you get there. We can't wait to go back.

We arrived and we sat within 15 minutes of our reservation time. Our server came over and we asked for a few more minutes she came back and we placed our beverage order and then we placed an appetizer order. The antipasto was a very nice size portion of meat and cheeses. We placed our entrée order and I asked if I could have chicken Parmesan since it wasn’t on the menu and they were able to accommodate since it’s on the menu up there sister restaurant they share a kitchen with when the food arrived at our table. It wasn’t even lukewarm. It was cold. We said something right away and they took the dishes back when they came out. It was still cold. We said this again and the dishes went back to the kitchen, and I am pretty sure they just placed them in an oven until they were steaming hot because the pasta on top was dried And the plates you couldn’t touch. They were so hot but the food was hot so we asked for some extra sauce. Everything from that point forward was excellent. I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past 10 years and this was the first time we’ve ever really had a negative experience. They did take care of our appetizers for us for the inconvenience which was a very nice gesture.

Food was very tasty, service was very good, ambiance is very good but the lunch menu was a little limited and slightly pricey for the portions. We will be back to try the dinner menu.

Waitress was terrible . It was not even busy and I had to ask for a napkin 3 times. I ended up grabbing my own from another table. Food was terrible. Onions and lettuce on my salad were old. I do not recommend this restaurant.
