Eòlas (pronounced Olass) has a simple mission; to offer the best modern Scottish cooking, specialising in quality, seasonal food and local producers. We want diners to enjoy the dishes, create great memories and appreciate the value of good cooking techniques.

Located on the west side of Murrayshall it makes the most of the Perthshire landscape with views for miles.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Beautifully presented dishes of food on piping hot plates. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

The food and atmosphere were good, but we would have liked the dishes to be a little more exciting. Everything was solidly cooked, but it won't be remembered. We had the 7-course tasting menu and - as elsewhere usual - expected explanations of the individual courses and not have the plates placed in front of us without a word. Also, a creative amuse bouche would have been nice. There was none at all - which is also unusual for such an eating event and price range. All in all nice, but the price-performance ratio didn't convince us.

Nice restaurant Food was tasty. But could he served warmer. There were too many supplement items, they should just raise the main price. Descriptions of dishes should be clearer. My dish with black pudding, only contained half a tea spoon of black pudding crumb on top of cabbage and beetroot! Service was good and staff were very polite. Overall. Not very good value for money.

Fabulous setting and so relaxing. Was there as a birthday treat and really enjoyed it. Staff were all so helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back.

We had a very disappointing celebratory meal. There was no ambience in the restaurant Were not looked after prior to moving through to the restaurant, was abruptly told to cone through to the restaurant. Forgot to serve a side dish. The risotto starter was served luje warm Everything had a supplement, shocking. Not value for money at all. Very sad to see how this restaurant has gone down.

Very delicate food whatever the large menu expérimented on June 12th or the 3 courses one yesterday. Large Wine list. Very kind staff. Nice vue on the landscape

Beautifully presented food but in terms of taste and flavours it wasn’t anything special The salmon was pretty and well executed ..:.but not exciting to eat. The sirloin roast was OK but no more than that. The veg was good with the broccoli and cauliflower cheese being the highlight The Brûlée was excellent The dining room was quiet with classical music playing. Not really our thing.
