Everything about our dinner was outstanding, from the greeting at the check-in desk through dessert. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The food is creative and very delicious.

I have been to this restaurant about 7 times. Love the ambiance/decor. The menu is very unique and looks like it has a lot of potential. However everytime we have gone we have been disappointed with the food. Mostly very salty and just misses the mark with quality especially for the price. I keep saying I won't go back but think that this time I mean it.

While the food was inventive and service good I feel that an entree at $48 was on the high side for the restaurant location within Fairfield and Fairfield County

I wanted to write this view from a family perspective, since most do not mention this! I thought Esh might not be great for kids, but it totally surprised us. I expected a challenge with a 7-year-old and a 14-year-old, but the restaurant was super accommodating. We went early on a Sunday, so it was less crowded, and a great time to go before the dinner rush. The kids were thrilled with Shirley Temples and I got to sample their Orange wine—crisp, citrusy, and dry. We started with the 3-dip appetizer, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfect with the warm pita. Even the kids couldn’t stop eating it! For mains, we had the burgers for the kids which they allowed us to modify, duck wings, blistered peppers, and a delicious falafel basket for me. Everything was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. The vibe is more upscale and adult, but the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It’s not exactly a kids’ restaurant, but it worked perfectly for us. We’ll definitely be back—maybe for date night next time! Highly recommend for great food and thoughtful service.
