   Sat at the bar. Dips and bread were great. Branzino fish was the best I’ve ever had. Wine was also good. Melanie was the bartender, great hospitality.

   I was so excited to try Esh as I have heard such wonderful reviews. Sadly, our waiter was clearly not happy with us. We ordered the 3 dips with bread, salad and another entree to share. We also ordered glasses of wine. He did not think that we ordered enough food and we said that we might order another if we were still hungry. He aid that they only take full orders but since it was not crazy busy itt would be fine - for the rest of the night he avoided us. I finally had to signal the maitre de to come over to our table so I could get another glass of wine. Our bill was over $200 so in my mind - it wasn't as tho we had a cheap meal and he wouldn't be making a nice tip. We all were very disappointed and his mood was so off-putting- I'm not sure that I would come back. I was very reluctant to share this but the waiter really spoiled what could have been a great night. Food & ambiance were all excellent.

   This is my go-to all time favorite Mediterranean restaurant in all of CT. We drove through the snow to dine at Esh and it was worth the 40 mile round trip! We are always so excited and so look forward to dining in this most beautiful warm inviting establishment. The interior is captivating with its beautiful bar, the lit trees stretching towards the sky and the red heart balloons adorned the restaurant throughout since it was Valentines Day weekend.From the Esh margaritas to Grandmas biscuit cake, the food is just divine, I literally have visions of what we will order. The Taboon bread is the BEST, and the hummus, tzatziki and eggplant & feta dips are enough to be blissfully content but why stop there. Baby gem salad, roasted beets, the ribeye steak (thanks Markaduke for the recommendation), the brazino and beef shawarma, perfection. Congratulations to Norm and his team of Chefs, culinary wizards, and the manager Nino who I just love for his caring nature, hostesses Gabriella and Charlotte who understand and elevate what the customer experience should be. Always a great experience above and beyond. I can’t wait for the next occasion to dine here. ❤️

   Valentine’s Day ! There was special menu as well as regular-we could mix and match 🙂 It was a pleasure to dine where we had excellent service ( Nicole was so considerate and wonderful)! This is our 3 rd time dining here - Nicole was our server last time as well-she was fab ! Food was flavorful ,presented beautifully-we love the hot bread with the dips, feta dip is no 1 on our list ! Lamb chops were sooo yummy , So was my personal favorite shrimp wrapped in crispy thin noodles All in all yum in a stylish setting ! Will bring my foodie daughter and family next time ! The hostesses were inviting and friendly and chatty too in spite of an evening where every table and the bar seats were full Love the vibe yesterday !!! Lohini
