Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer in Burgundy. He grew up in a family dedicated entirely to wine; and after gaining some experience internationally, he started his own project in the late 90's.
This entry-level red Burgundy comes from vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vines ra fruit there is a subtle earthiness and chalky tannins. This old vinesnge in age from 30 to 80 years and are farmed sustainably. Think delicious smashed cherry skins, crunchy acidity and a fresh vibrant intensity. Beneath all the fresh red Burgundy has finesse and a real quaffable quality.
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir is light enough to pair with Mushroom Truffle Fettuccine but complex enough to accompany duck confit.

Have a great anniversary dinner here. Service is amazing, really taking care of you. Everything is great. The octopus is awesome.

The food was exceptional as well as the presentation. Our waitress was lovely and they made our anniversary special with an anniversary card and dessert plates that had Happy Anniversary on them. A very nice touch.

Had my birthday celebration dinner at est. just a small table for myself and hubby, and as always had a great time. The octopus is the best in the city and will always be ordered by us, we did the Winterlicious dinner option which was best they have ever had! Similar items were on past menus, but 2025 was definitely their best one yet ! Staff were all very attentive and made sure we (and all other patrons) were well taken care of.

The winterliscious menu was disappointing. Fish was dry, pasta undercooked. Chocolate cake dessert was dry. Even tho we did not eat our meal - waitress didn’t ask if anything was wrong.

I had the pleasure of dining at EST for Winterlicious, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal—warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. Every course exceeded my expectations. The appetizer was fresh and flavorful, the entrée was perfectly executed, and the dessert was the ideal sweet ending to the meal. On top of that, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, ensuring that everything arrived promptly and that we had everything we needed. I regret not remembering her name because she truly enhanced our dining experience. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in the city!

Came here for a girls night and for the winterlicious dinner menu. Was blown away by the food! The charred octopus and the burrata with caviar were very good! And we both got the braised beef for our mains and I’m still thinking about how incredible it tasted. Will definitely be coming back again!

Excellent food, and wonderful service. The tasting menu was perfectly done…but my fave, the burrata, it was insane. Flown in weekly from Italy 😍
