   Visited on 1/18/25. Brought a friend who had never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse. I hadn’t been to Estampa Gaucha, but familiar with others. I made a reservation, but arrived early so there was still a wait, but that was totally okay! We went to the bar and the bartender was wonderful! When we were seated, we were left to settle.. Then no one came to see us, check on us, or acknowledge our presence. We watched other tables get seated & provided with sides, bread, & glasses of water - but we were completely overlooked. Since I was familiar with how Brazilian Steakhouses work, I gave my friend an overview & we got up to grab plates to flip our cards to green. The meat servers were phenomenal & after a while I asked one of them if he’d grab a waitress for us so we could get waters. Shortly after, a waitress who was helping another table came over and provided us with sides & we asked her if she could also grab us waters & bread. She seemed surprised we didn’t have them already, but said yes & we had them in no time. The manager (bald Caucasian man) came over for the first time towards the end of our meal. We told him the food was great but we didn’t have a waitress. He cut me off and said they’re all our waitress as they work together to take care of everyone.. Sure, but we also all know waitresses are assigned dedicated tables. I told him we had to ask for everything we’d received by waitresses we’d stopped/flagged down. He contradicted it by saying we had bread, like that meant we were being cared for. We asked for it. He was very dismissive but said he “loved the feedback” We felt generally brushed off & like he didn’t believe us or care. He said he’d talk to the staff. We still didn’t have a waitress, but we asked a passing waitress for a dessert menu & she brought one. The manager confirmed our story then decided to start being helpful & apologizing for the service mishap. He brought our check & comped our drinks & desserts (which were both fabulous).

   Overall, a mixed experience. Some of the food was great (pork, flank steak, grilled pineapple), and some not as much (some of the sides needed more seasoning, some of the meat was WAY too salty and fatty, and the shrimp were very plain and still needed to be peeled before eating). I think a better system is needed for how the servers make rounds in the restaurant. For instance, some of the offerings we saw every few minutes, while others (like the grilled pineapple), took a long time to get to us. We almost waited over 45 min for shrimp to come out, and it was very underwhelming (see comment above). The salad bar was unique and very fresh, and the cheese bread rolls were delicious.

   Overall, dinner was great. Customer service was dynamic. Atmosphere was not as elegant as other Brazilian Steakhouses but it wasn’t bad either. Food quality was good. Some selections were dry. It others were amazingly tender and well seasoned. Salad bar was good but would’ve been better if there were labels on each item so I knew what I was eating. Ultimately, I would probably return.

   The food and atmosphere was great. Seated promptly with dinner reservations. Salad bar and hot bar had a lot to choose from. The steaks and other meats were delicious.

   We loved the food. The Brazilian way they brought around the meats to our table was spot on. However, when they brought the house special rum drinks to our table,we thought they were included as was everything else that was brought. $12.25 each x 3 was unexpected, especially since the prices were higher for an early New Year's Eve dinner. We would go again, but forwarned! Dang, I hate when that happens 😒

    This is a great place to dine in. We had a memorable time for our New Year's Eve dinner. Enjoyable food with lots a variety to choose from.
