From the OpenTable editors: When James Beard-nominated chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen in 2018, he helped put the Arts District on the city’s culinary map. Now in a stylish new space with an open kitchen and whimsical animal wallpaper, the refined Italian spot still turns out the same wood-fired sourdough pizzas and knockout pastas (get the rigatoni carbonara with snap peas) that made it an instant Vegas classic.

    We had an odd occurrence in that a new server stopped at the table to say that our server Eason a break. Then one of our dishes was served cold! We asked if it was supposed to be a salad, the cauliflower was literally chilled! Thankfully they removed it from our bill. Nice people and cool place.

    Excellent meal from start to finish, get a table asap! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and helped guide us through the menu and how best attack it. I highly recommended a dish or two from each section and share with the table to cover as much as you can. Definitely will return when back in town

    Our server was excellent no complaints. The food was disappointing. I ate at the old location (3 times smaller) last November and the food was fantastic. Tripling in size did not do them well. We barely ate anything we ordered, walked out hungry. Wine was excellent.

    We went with our dear friends from Chicago and we all had a FABULOUS meal. You have to have the bread with the little dips! And my husband got the new entree of sausage and peppers and it was the best he ever had. I had the butternut squash ravioli and our friends had branzino and spaghetti and meatballs! Fabulous meal and great service. Leigh, Jack, Jim and Debbie
