   The food is wonderful and varied. Don’t however get the soup. If dining, best not to go on an empty stomach, if you hope not to leave with an empty wallet. Wonderful bar, and maybe a perfect place for a drink and small bite.

   Great food. Creative menu. Very friendly staff. They may have had their hands full with the packed house. Will absolutely go back so I can try different stuff.

   The atmosphere and quality of food and service were very very good. No complaints. In fact the spanakopita is the best I've ever had. Even my Greek husband had to admit to it (and beg forgiveness from his deceased Yahiya for saying it out loud) However, the prices were high for the quantity of food served. Prices are posted on their website, so they aren't a surprise. So you should expect that situation when making a reservation. One other thing of note, our reservation was on a predicted snow event evening which might account for the restaurant being out of soup, green beans and potatoes from a relatively small menu list to begin with. I struggle with how a restaurant can under-estimate preparation of potatoes and green beans given their low cost and general easy availability. Last note, the waitress asked us if we wanted pita to soak up the sauce of a finished dish and were charged for the pita. I also didn't expect that. Overall, this restaurant is beautiful. The food is wonderful and the service is very good as well. I definitely recommend on those aspects. But I think it is important to be aware of portion size compared to pricing.

   Fili is Providence’s hidden gem and the jewel of the East Side. Step in and you may be in an elegant Greek bistro in Astoria, Queens. It will transport you. The menu is curated and full of surprises. Grab a table or sit at the bar…. Both options promise warmth and vibe.

   A must-visit restaurant, this place has it all—food, drink, vibe. The food is superb and sized to share. Mixologists are creative and skilled. Service was outstanding as always. This place is my favorite.

   We made reservations a week in advance or so. When we got there we decided to eat at the bar for a change. It was a great decision as we got to occasionally chat with the staff and we were close to the enormous TV screen showing high quality areal views of Greek cities, famous buildings, islands, mountains, etc. We agreed that the bar stools were very comfortable and it felt like we had even more room than at the tables. We have been there about 8 times now and look forward to many returns.

    Couldn’t wait to introduce my 95 year old mother to this place. She loved it - so fresh and tasty! We finally had the lamb shank, which was delicious and a perfect share for two. Service is always excellent - the staff both front of the house and back of the house seem to work as a team!
