Etsu is a Japanese izakaya which focuses on local amazing produce in our dishes which are designed to be shared amongst friends. We have one of the largest Japanese whisky collections on our back bar which we recommend served over hand cut ice or try one of our sakes or Japanese tap beers. Our sashimi is the freshest around and our fave place to sit is at the dining bar. Kanpaii!!

    We celebrated a birthday and all of us very much enjoyed the experience Food was first class and we tried some sake and enjoyed the cocktails and other drinks Hannah was very attentive and pleasant to deal with

    Fantastic experience. Food, service and atmosphere were all brilliant. Our waitress Sam was outstanding and this added the extra polish to our experience.

    Honestly. A trip To The GC is not complete without printable at Etsu. Some fancy new openings but they pale in comparison to the class and the decent food experience here. Never disappoints. So happy when. We leave. Staff ALWAYS attentive. It’s just faultless.

    Appalling service—is there a single service professional working there? Plus the food is meh. Plenty of other more affordable, authentic and delicious Japanese restaurants (ie where the Japanese dine)

    This place was a surprise in every way. From the entrance to the restaurant, the ambiance, decoration and spectacular food. The best of Gold Coast! We ordered a 7 course menu and it was awesome.

    Absolutely amazing food and service! We can easily say this is the best restaurant and food we have ever experienced. We did find the noise level too high and energetic to have a comfortable dinner (but then we are old!) Prices reasonable and meal sizes just right to enjoy and be ready for the next course.
