   Monday night Pasta/Gnocchi special all table had either dish commented it was tasty & presented well. The evening was fun watching the winners of the Christmas Toy Raffle.

   We go to diggers often, and usually book for Friday and Saturday nights. We booked for Friday night which was exceptionally busy due to them having a show on. You now need to walk around to find your reserved table where a year ago they would check you in and show you to your table. We found our table, as due to being so busy there was only a couple of reserved tables left. Wait for meals was 45 minutes. However the food is very good. On Saturday night we walked around to find our reserved table, which we could not find. We found a young girl who looked up to see if we had a reservation which we did. She said someone must have taken your table, just sit anywhere. This is not the first time this has happened as happened in August, would have been interesting if this had happened on the Friday night where there was no unreserved tables left.

   family catchup lunch for 6 - small cramped interior bistro table and we had to locate extra chairs for comfortable seating - noticed that smaller groups had tables with 8 seats - noise from music and entertainer was unendurable with conversation impossible - eventually able to grab seat outside on balcony which was sealed off from noisy bistro - enjoyable meal and drinks followed - went to 4pm mowtown tribute show which was good in parts - overall a mixed rating

   Everyone was full of praise for their food. The quality was exceptional in every dish. However the service was a little slow. We waited nearly an hour for our orders.

   I booked the table 3 weeks prior to us coming for my Mother’s birthday, we had to move the tables to cater for us and because they were all separated, the manager was extremely rude, mumbling under his breath, also told us he didn’t care because he had a business to run & it was his busy time . He shouldn’t be in that position if he is going to treat people like that.

    We came here on a Saturday night as a group of 8 on holiday. Street Food section is nice, quick and fast. Bistro chicken schnitzel was well overcooked. Some people on our table got their orders quick and some had to wait way too long. Cocktails on tap are not good but you can get the real deal at the other bar if you want, which Is what we did. The staff at the club are very lovely and helpful. The courtesy bus guy was not overly courteous, not sure why when he was 30mins late to pick us up. We booked for 5pm and were picked up at 5:30pm. Maybe this should have been explained when booking that this is a “fluid time” not a hard pick up time.
