The music was so loud people had to yell to hear each other at the table. Then there was a sax player that had to play even louder to be heard.

An absolutely well done event for a special Mother’s Day. The presentations, food, and service were fantastic. The moms in our group were well taken care of and very pleased with the experience.

This was absolutely ridiculous. We paid $1,200 for my wife and I. They made it sound like it was part of Lilac, a Michelin stared restaurant. When in fact it was not in the least bit. It also was very vague in the description, and said top shelf drinks, and amazing appetizers. We didn't eat going in tonight because they made it seem like we would get plenty of food. We left because we were starving (I think we got 5 bites of food) But by then, nothing was open. Top shelf in their eyes was ordering an old fashioned and getting Jack Daniels. Are you kidding me???? $1,200 for two people and we get Jack Daniels as a premium drink for an old fashioned. I've ordered a hundred old fashioned and never gotten Jack Daniels with it. Lilac should be absolutely ashamed of associating themselves with this. Absolutely ashamed.

My girlfriend and I were extremally disappointed. I will never attend another event at the Edison. Here are the issues we encountered: There were no tables and chairs to sit down between dancing's. Other couples requested tables and chairs, however, there was not enough for us and other guests. There was no coat check at all. The band (Kool and the Gang) did not start performing until 11:50pm. For the amount we paid (1,199.00), it was a waste of money. The only recourse for us is to get a full refund. This is the worst and most expensive concert event in my lifetime. So very disappointed and felt that we were taken advantage of. The venue itself was lacking in elegance, seating & tables. There was a photographer taking photos but we never saw those photo. , people expected a beautiful venue & came well dressed for the occasion, including ourselves we were in tuxedos and formal attire. The staff tried to do their best to be service oriented and helpful. The very little food that was available was tasty & reflected the quality of the Edition but it was misrepresented & insufficient for the $599 per person price tag. Also, where was the seafood bar? Non existent & only a guy walking around with a bucket of oysters. Kool & the Gang was amazing & the highlight of the evening & im assuming that’s where the majority of our dollars went! There was very little seating & it definitely made it uncomfortable. We will never return to such an event & I hope the person who planned & mismanaged everything reads this & improves. We should have demanded half of our money back for such a poorly devised .& expensive experience.

We purchased tickets $599 for nye party. The food was almost non existent! It was advertised to have an “expansive seafood bar” which was one waiter walking around carrying a bucket of oysters handing you one if wanted. We were in black tie tux and dresses, starving and no place to sit. Very few seats and tables. Kool and gang were excellent and atmosphere was beautiful, but since we have eaten several times at the hotel, we expected delicious food (not a sit dinner, but at least heavy appetizers and this was not available). Too expensive and misrepresented the seafood bar experience!
