Excited to be opening his "F1RST" restaurant, Award winning Executive Chef/Owner Adam Weiss who is known for his creative mix of unique flavors, textures, and artful presentation will be opening F1RST, an Eclectic American Fine Dining BYOB Restaurant. Focusing on seasonal American Cuisine with a twist, Chef Adam Weiss is bringing his distinctive cooking to Northern New Jersey.
Diners will delight in the two uniquely decorated dining rooms that are upscale and trendy with avant garde artwork, subdued lighting, soothing background music, and an intimate fireplace.

Outstanding restaurant. Friendly reception upon entering. Service friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Beautiful presentation. Highly recommend.

We have been to F1rst several times and after our recent visit we questioned ourselves on why we don't frequent this fine restaurant even more. The hostess and our server Linda were very attentive to our needs. The menu is varied to every taste and Linda explained the specials in great detail and every one sounded delicous. Our appy and entrees did not disappoint and we look forward to coming back very soon. If you are looking for a great byob don't miss out on visiting F1rst

Frankly, we were VERY disappointed. Our friends had raved about this place last Saturday night so we couldn’t wait to go. It’s noisy to the point of being nearly unpleasant. The service was more “diner-like” than fine dining and the quality of the entrees was painfully lacking. I had the artisanal beets appetizer……they could have come from a $0.99 can from the supermarket! The “jumbo” shrimp and grits entree was neither jumbo nor tasty. A request for butter (for the bread) required re-requesting and the hot water with lemon at the end of the meal requires requesting “lemon” and when it finally does appear, it is more correctly warm water with lemon. Suffice it to say that F1rst didn’t make the cut tonight which was a big disappointment because we are always on the lookout for restaurants that serve terrific food. Maybe tonight was just an off night but we were genuinely disappointed. Proceed with caution and bring some ear plugs.

This was our first visit to F1RST. My husband and I went with close friends; all of us "foodies". We knew the chef from other restaurants where he worked and knew his food to be of high caliber. Chef Adam did not disappoint at all!!! Our meal was OUTSTANDING!! My husband and girlfriend had the duck which my husband hailed as a 10 out of 10!!! I had the short ribs as did her husband and we felt the same about our meal. The service was polite, professional and very attentive. The restaurant was quiet enough with enough space between tables to have a good conversation without having to yell to be heard. Overall a great experience!! We all are looking forward to our next experience at the restaurant.
