Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory.

Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.

Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.

Our chef Ollie Bass believes in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

A perfect spot with Eventim Apollo, The Lyric & Riverside studios only 5-10 minutes walk, dine in with us to feel like you're at the coast in the heart of Hammersmith

Lovely seafood restaurant, every dish well prepared and delicious, costs us 180 quid without drinks. Would go back again.

Friendly staff with good service. Took coats and bags to help more space at the table. Food was very tasty and a good variety. Bit surprised that specials board had items already sold out by 18:30 but it did not matter as there was still plenty of choice. Quiet atmosphere. Would go again.

Great seafood restaurant that really knows how to prepare shellfish. Service was excellent and only slightly marred by a side disk being forgotten but when pointed out was rapidly rectified and removed from the bill. Thanks for a great meal.

Delicious and varied seafood menu, lovely drinks options including mocktails. Unlike our first visit, on this occasion the service was not quite as good possibly due to a busy evening and new staff. Great for couples or groups alike. Thank you

I live in Bristol but everytime when I go to London to visit my brother, Faber is the only restaurant I will re-visit again. Good food with reasonable prce!
