Chef proprietor Dylan McGrath & his team have created this more casual dining experience for Fade Street Social. The Woodfired Restaurant has a menu featuring wood-fired dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether you’re catching a show at the theatre, heading out for a night on the town, or simply enjoying a meal with friends, this part of Fade Street provides a fun, yet relaxed and more affordable dining experience.

The Woodfired menu specialises in cooking food over hot coals, to achieve more unique flavours and textures. The smoke from the coals imparts a smoky flavour, while the heat caramelises the sugars in the food, creating a crispy exterior and a tender interior. Wood-fired cooking is a traditional cooking method that has been enjoyed for centuries, we've now brought some of that to Fade Street Social.

Ascend to the first floor and discover our New York-style cocktail bar and roof garden, offering snacks, cocktails, great music and fantastic views.

Very disappointed with dinner. It arrived cold. Asked for my steak to be rare- came out well done. Serving staff stoped mid order to deliver drinks for the table behind. The table behind us was on top of us and there was not enough space at the table. Had to ask twice for the bill. Very expensive for a below average meal

Service was not consistent. There seemed to be enough staff, especially when we arrived but other than the mgr the rest of the staff seemed to struggle. Our mains took 1.15 hours to arrive after our starters and sadly some at our table had not ordered starters. It also took awhile for our empty starter plates to be removed even though many staff members with empty hands walked by our table many times. When I worked as wait staff we had a rule that you never went anywhere empty handed, even if it was not your designated table. No one came to our table unless we flagged them down to order more drinks, etc. The food was very delicious and they were kind enough m to find a larger table when our group grew from 4 to 5; it was much appreciated.

Asked 3 people could we order a drink and finally got served 30 mins after sitting down.. some of our food was very cold so had to return..took ages to come back out..offered free desserts to make up for it but they were obviously taken from a freezer as they were freezing !! First time here and wouldn't go back as very very over hyped . 135 per couple for lunch with no starter or dessert !

The worst dining experience I remember in years. We arrived early and went to the upstairs bar. I had non alcoholic cocktail kind of expected a tall glass but it was just a glass of Prosecco with a slice of lemon. Grand but not a cocktail. When we sat to eat it was just downhill from there. Took ages to come take our order, the starters came and sat in front of us when we had finished for around 30-40minutes until a staff realised by my facial expression I was not impressed. She took our plates and then our pizzas came they were cold so maybe they were just sitting waiting. The table beside us was no better dinner plates sat in front of them for maybe an hour no offer of desert. Was very disappointing overall the starter was nice I had chicken liver pate, pizza was ok, my husbands we weren’t keen on but maybe that’s personal preference, service was non existent. Given it is week before Xmas but the price was the same and they were aware in advance of their bookings. Seriously overrated defo avoid, left feeling frustrated what we paid did not match the experience.surprised how disorganised and cold the service is and I think they are aware but don’t care from what I could see.

We’d a great welcome on arrival and given a super table. Lovely choice on the menu. Food was excellent. We had 3 courses and some cocktails. All delicious. The music is a little loud for oldies like us in our 50s :-) but we had a lovely time and probably over-stayed our welcome but we’re made feel very comfortable. Looking forward to next visit

It was great! The food was fantastic, special shout out to the Pumpkin Honey Soup, never tried any soup better than that or a taste like that, completely new and it impressed us very much! We had a little issue with seats in the beginning as we didn’t want to seat where we were assigned to, but they arranged for us, so thank you for that too. It was a bit too loud for the size of the space but sure look, we had a great time celebrating my partners bday. Thanks to all x
