   I took my 17 year old twins to the restaurant as a March Break treat and we were really happy with our meal. We didn't order appetizers but probably would if we return as the main dish portions were perfectly sized to allow for this and dessert. One son ordered the burger, the other the steak frites and I had the beef kabob. Beautifully presented and the combination of flavours was perfect. We all ordered dessert which was light and the perfect size for the end of the meal. I had coffee which was quite strong and more like an espresso in size and taste. The ambience was perfect and despite the number of people dining, not too loud. I'd definitely recommend it for a date night, or a get together with friends or family.

   Our food was delicious. I particularly liked my dinner's rice and charred shishito peppers. My mocktail was mostly ice with very little ginger beer. My host liked his wine. Our waiter recommended we order 2 appetizers and 2 mains, which would have been too much for us to eat as the main courses are substantial. We're glad we didn't take his recommendation. Service was fine up to and including our after-dinner coffees, then our waiter disappeared, It was almost 11pm (we'd arrived for dinner at shortly before our 9pm reservation time) so by then we may have been the last patrons in the restaurant. Did our waiter forget we were there? We flagged down a waitress who was cleaning up the other tables and she brought us our bill. We'll return to the restaurant as the ambiance and food were excellent and they serve dinner late, but we hope our service is better the next time. Or we'll ask for the bill when we get our coffees.

   The food and ambience if fabulous here. It never disappoints!! Fresh tasty and definitely a treat every time we go. Look forward to dinning with them again soon.

   Their Valentines day menu was exactly the tasting experience we like when going to places like this. The quality and quantity were both spot on and everything was super flavourful. Wine paring was a great addition to our experience

   The appetizers were really good and the desert too. At the beginning the service was good. Unfortunately, they brought the entrees while we were not finished with the first course?! So the entrees were deceiving and cold. I don’t know why it happened because the restaurant wasn’t busy. We were disappointed.

   I had read great reviews about Fairouz Cafe and was expecting elevated middle eastern food. It was good but not to the level of Sumac in Montreal or Limon in Toronto. The baba ghanoush and fattoush salad were flavorful. The shish tawook and beef kebab were medium quality in terms of cut and marinade. Regarding ambiance, the decor is well intended, acoustics are poor (back of the restaurant). Ok overall.

    Despite having a reservation we were placed at a table right up against a big window. It was -25 outside so we shivered throughout entire dinner due to a cold breeze on our backs. Server was not attentive or friendly. Food was good/tasty but portion sizes considerably smaller than the last time we dined there. Overall experience was good but not great.
