Our authentic BBQ starts in a live-wood smoker stoked with genuine hickory logs. Our pitmasters hand-rub the meats with a custom blend of spices and cook for hours to extract the natural flavors. We made reservations through OpenTable and arrived a few minutes early only to be told it was a 20 minute wait. We reminded them that we had a reservation and they told us it didn't matter it still first come first served. Very disappointing. We were not about to wait 20 minutes on a Wednesday night. On top of that the restaurant was half empty.

The food was excellent and served very quickly. We love the three bbq Alice flavor choices. The person serving our food was very nice. The only thing that could be improved was the long wait time when we arrived even though we had an Open Table reservation. Maybe they were short handed that night. They more than made up for it by having the food out to our table super fast.

Our waitress needs more training. I asked for Miller on draft and she brought a bottle of Miller light and no glass. Asked for butter. There were 5 people and she brought a tiny container of butter. Eating ribs usually requires more napkins. Asked for more but never got them. There is more but I will run out of room.

We were seated quickly. Wait staff was very friendly. For us the location is perfect since we live about 5 minutes away. We plan to go again soon.

Food came out 25 minutes after we ordered it and it was two sandwiches. They were both cold. We never got drink refills.

Our server Laurie was fantastic. She was timely, friendly and efficient. I think she was psychic. As I finished my tea she was handing me a refill. Crazy and cool
