We came here From out of state for my twins birthday to see family. From the moment I walked in and spoke with the hostess I was regretting my decision to eat at Famous Dave's but it continued to get worse. I choose this restaurant because I had a large group of 14 people, I reserved a party room online and it was close to the hotel I was staying. But when I walked in they had already rented the party room out to someone else. They made an incredibly small space to fit us in with all of our chairs were literally all touching. I ordered a drink, when it arrived it had a fly in it. The manager came to speak with me after the waitress dismissed my concern and said she'd send the manager. Instead of apologizing, she simply told me that she had made the drink herself. She brought me another drink without a word. Still no apology. Then it took over an hour for any food to arrive. I will never return there.

Food is terrible.. Very bland. The hot link was not even close to hot. Server was not the best.. I won’t be back..

Food was tasty. Little more meaty rib end bones would be better but over all the food is great.

This place has never been my favorite to eat in Kansas City. So many great options for bbq but a friend had a gift card. The service was absolute perfection. I ordered a side salad and a baked potato and they were both delicious. One friend had a delicious looking burger and the other had brisket, which she said was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be putting Famous Dave’s back on my list.

We made a reservation through Open Table. It was confirmed with email. When we got to Famous Dave’s, the hostess told us that they do not take reservations and it is an hour wait. We decided to eat at the bar.
