Our authentic BBQ starts in a live-wood smoker stoked with genuine hickory logs. Our pitmasters hand-rub the meats with a custom blend of spices and cook for hours to extract the natural flavors. We source the highest quality meats and trim them up like we’re in a competition and hand-rub them with the freshest seasonings available to create mouthwatering experiences! 2 of us sat in the bar on a Saturday night around 530 and the bar was basically empty besides one other table. The service was awful. Our server was running around to other tables and the whole place seemed very understaffed, which is unfortunate because we still pay full price but get horrible service and cold food because it was brought out to us after sitting in the kitchen for awhile. Won’t go back

If you want Faux News blaring and impatient, overworked waitstaff, this is the place for you. The food was meh and they seemed to be ‘out of’ nearly everything I wanted to order. Won’t be back.

Food was very good service was not the best even tho I made reservations we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, after that it took over 15 minutes to get our drinks. I was very unhappy with the service but the food was great but will not be dinning in next time.

The waitress was nice, but slow. Overall food was okay, but not great. Brisket sandwich was lacking and fries were dry and hard.

It was a dreadful New Year's Eve experience. Although we arrived during their open hours, we had to convince them to let us in because we literally had no other dining options. We have had previous wonderful experiences with Dave's, but this was dismal. Poor food. Service was okay under the circumstances, but it felt like Famous Dave's is just a shadow of its former self.

I typically enjoy Famous Dave's and was looking forward to dining there with several family members. The first problem occurred when I ordered a 'Smokin Long Island Tea' which is supposed to be served at our table since it involves pouring the tea into a glass filled with smoke. The waitress brought just the tea itself and when I asked where the smokey glass was, she said it was unavailable. I had hoped she would at least offer a price break, but she did not. I told her I was really wanting the smoke affect (as advertised) and since it was not available, I would just have a regular iced tea instead. 'Miraculously' she returned with the smoke-filled glass and I was happy to enjoy it. The other problem was with the Brisket, which we had to pay extra for. It was very fatty and fairly disgusting to eat.

Our family used to love this place, but after our last visit we won't be going back. The restaurant was not very busy, with plenty of tables everywhere, yet it took 90minutes for our food to arrive. I can forgive a long wait if the food is worth it, which it normally is. This time however, the food was awful. My ribs were dry as shoe leather, the burgers were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside and my son's 3 chicken tenders were roughly the size of a shrimp. Throughout it all our server was nowhere to be found. The one time I managed to get his attention, he looked me in the eye, turned on his heel and walked away.
