   Phenomenal food, great services. Great mixology - fun to watch. The vibe of sharing a meal with your table while out is amazing and creates great connection. Servers are knowledgeable, polite and great to chat with.

   We came for my friend’s 50th birthday and they offered a free Prosecco or dessert. The food was amazing and I was surprised how inexpensive it was. Our server was lovely. I have recommended this restaurant to friends.

   It was a great find. A different menu with some really unique tastes. We were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance and service were great. They have some great happy hour specials but also the main menu has some unique offerings.

   Keen to experience this highly rated restaurant we were surprised to be as disappointed as we were when we left. Our server was polite and friendly, however there appeared to be some degree of rushing to get rid of us as throughout the meal there was no real time to sit and relax and even enjoy a second round of drinks as we were whipped through the dishes including having dessert menus delivered while my wife was still finishing her main meal. The Striploin was the win, but at $75 it came with the general expectation it would be good, however the soup of the day (pea and ham) was watery and lacked flavour of a traditional pea and ham we were looking forward to sharing (as suggested) along with the chicken and dumplings which was not value for money, and consisted of a few small pieces of chicken with breaded dumplings that were floating in another watery broth of peas and carrots. (it was like a poor man’s soup in my opinion but at $32 we expected more). The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was steady with diners at most tables on our arrival. With the variety and choice of restaurants available in Banff we would not return to this one, but given the reviews maybe our experience was an exception to the norm.

   We booked this as our one special night out as our 3 nights in Banff. It was supposed to have live entertainment and be a cozy spot. It was like sitting in a mall food court and the live entertainment played for 25 minutes during our 90 minute stay. Our server was nice. The food was good. We had to stop eating our mains while we waited for our drink and all we were told was that there was a Xmas party so they didn’t have time to make our drinks. We asked for our bill and waited another 10 minutes. Then some sparkling wine showed up????? That we didn’t ask for and still don’t have our bill. Sooooo many choices in Banff. I would NEVER recommend this place. Ever. It was a horrible special night out.

    After a long drive in the snow we needed a good meal and the dinner we had at Farm & Fire was excellent. The salmon tartare was the best we ever had.
