We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

PIZZA

Naples is the birthplace of pizza… Soft and pillowy, rather than thin and crispy or a pizza pie. Our dough is made by us every day, proved for a minimum of 24 hours, then topped by our pizzaioli who cook every pizza in our ovens at 450+ degrees. Buon appetito!

Fatto a Mano in Hove—top-notch hospitality, proper welcoming staff who make you feel looked after. The pizza? Spot on. Fresh ingredients, proper Neapolitan style, crispy yet soft in all the right ways. You can tell they care about quality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting in for a chilled evening, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Drinks were wrong and after a reminder, one pizza came almost 10 minutes later than the others.

Went as they had a deal - bring a pineapple and get a free pizza - great pizza! Loved the maitre de - so attentive and brought the spirit of Italy Will be back

Wow, Not been here for 6 Years so decided to give it a go. Food was amazing - best goddam pizza dough I have ever tasted ! Staff were so helpful , happy and super nice . I had the Calzone , most filling thing I have ever eaten ! Bruschetta was 10/10 , Will soooo be going back again but maybe order slightly less lol ! Was a very busy night so we were at top of the restaraunt so was a bit noisy but other than that , 10/10 all round . Beer was lovely although not sure why they dont just serve in pints rather than smaller glasses - would save reordering - (ps - pet niggle of mine - if you serve draught beer , then fill up a pint glass !!) ) Overall super super happy and will be back again on regular basis !

Absolutely delicious pizzas! Very good service. Only downside was that it's very noisy.

Lovely family meal - all the food was delicious, fantastic service and we got a free pizza after having a voucher delivered through our door. Great marketing tactic, we'll be back for sure!
