The chef tends to overcook the calamari, so it is the texture of rubber bands, however the meatballs are great!

Our reservation time was 6:30 PM and we were seated when we arrived. Our servers name was Benny and he was excellent. He explained all the specials as well as the price for each one. The service was perfect. Food came out hot and it was delicious. Definitely would recommend Fava .

Always a treat. Food is just spot on. Authenticity matters. Great veal, fish and pasta dishes and a very thoughtful wine list too. On this latest trip we had their latest iteration of how to make burrata exciting - this time with fresh grape tomatoes, black olives, fresh mix of spinach and assorted greens with a mortadella rosette in the middle. Awesome take on the fresh burrata. Other appetizer was the blanco clams (you can't pass them up as the broth has tons of pancetta and just a hint of red pepper flake for a kick). Entrees were the Veal Saltimbucca (special) and the porcini mushroom and sausage gnocchi - decadent. Great hand-crafted cocktails from the stellar bar too. If you leave room for dessert - lots of options, but we always lean towards the classic affagato. Delish!

First time there. Food and service what very good. We loved the piano. We were in the other room and could not really hear it over the music. I would turn the music off and let the piano be heard throughout. Eli was very attentive to all the guest and very pleasant to deal with.

We had a great dinner at Fava for a party of 8. The dining room has live music, the ambiance was beautiful and the food/ service was great. Steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare, the fish was cleaned tableside and the risotto with scallops were perfectly prepared. When your silverware is refreshed between appetizers and your main course, you know the attention to detail well be great. Very conveniently located too.

Worst experience here. Had reservation for weeks knowing that it would busy on Valentine’s Day. Selected 7pm to hear the piano player; was seated in the WORST table in the restaurant near the bathroom and kitchen. Never even knew the piano player was there! Complained to Maria about this. Nothing was done. She tried to comp the dessert and coffee but we had ALREADY paid the bill. Too little, too late. Boo!!
