Located in the city centre on the ground floor of Dublin’s 8 newest hotel, The Chancery, Fawn is a modern European restaurant serving vibrant ingredient-driven food. Showcasing Irish produce with references to the neighbourhood’s Italian-quarter history, the cocktails and sharing plates put the emphasis on stylish informality. The restaurant occupies a bright, light-filled space overlooking a lush, stepped terrace verdant with ferns, mosses and heathers. Fawn is a restaurant designed for Dublin.

                                              Steak massively undercooked. Took an hour to come. Sent it back and I’m pretty sure they microwaved it because it came back out in one minute. One side cooked more the other side still raw. Then at the end they got the bill wrong and overcharged us.

                                              The cocktails were not to our taste but the food was okay definitely not worth the price paid. The service was quick and pleasant. The toilets were very far away, not good if disabled. We wouldn’t return.

                                              Incredible food and excellent service. Was a little chilly in the room and the music was a tad too loud but maybe meant for a younger crowd. Overall, a great dining experience,

                                              It’s always a risk when dining in a hotel that you may be the only diners, here at least there was a couple and my group of 5. The staff were friendly and engaged with us a lot. The food came along and it was really very good. A nice menu with a few temptations. The decor is fabulous and if you wanted to impress, it could do some nice mid sized groups. But it is pricey, and slightly off the beaten track!!
