   Lovely young lady Host was very personable and so accommodating. I was seated at a very nice part of the Restaurant. Trevin was the mixologist and he had great recommendations. Very personable and friendly. Trevin made every guest dining at Fete very welcomed . Service was very quick and efficient. I ordered the Fete Salad so flavorful and delicious. The Carbonara was also wonderful . Amazing restaurant and I will highly recommend to colleagues and family as well . Thank you Fete Team for making my lunch a memorable dining experience.    Fete is a nice change from the usual Hawaii dining. It could easily be in NY or LA, a casual SoHo type atmosphere. I had the special eggplant lasagne and thought it was excellent. My husband had the quinoa burger and said it was the best he has had. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable. I would highly recommend

   We originally sat outside and asked to be moved inside due to the buses and loud traffic as we were directly on the sidewalk. Once inside, the noise level was loud but the place was quaint. Very small and lovely. We had the honey mustard chicken wings, steak tartare and basil Caesar to start. All were fabulous. My husband had the kampacha fish special and I had the pork rague. The fish was good per my husband. I had a bite and found it a bit fishy. The rague had great flavor and the pasta was perfectly cooked. No room for dessert but we would definitely go back!

   Food and service was everything we expect from this top notch chef. They did not disappoint. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful meal they will not forget.

   Food was very average. Rib eye was tough and difficult to cut or chew. Our server left off multiple specials that we heard when she was helping other tables. All in all a very meh meal. Would not come back.

   I’ve been to Fete multiple times and it’s always a 10/10! Last night we were celebrating some birthdays and decided to go to Fete. They were very accommodating for our group of 7. We made the reservation later in the day and they were able to squeeze us in (we booked for 6 and called back to see if 7 was ok and they still said no problem). The servers were sooo nice, as usual. Cory and Taryn were our main servers and they were very attentive. Cocktails come out fast! We ordered all 3 pastas from the menu, the pot pie, burger, fried rice, fried potato, risotto, pork chop special, steak tartare, and pate. Everything was awesome. I could’ve ordered multiple orders of the steak tartare and pate and just enjoyed that all night, but glad we tried so many dishes (mostly family style/ sharing for our group, but you could do traditional as well). The owner stopped by our table to check on us. Chef won the James Beard award a few years ago, very deserving. We absolutely will be back! Lots of street parking in the area, there is also a cheap parking lot at Nuuanu and beretania if you can’t find anything and don’t mind walking a few blocks.

   We ordered several things off the regular menu and maybe one off the specials menu. Everything was delicious, the least impressive thing they offered was the fries which is saying something. Lol when deep fried potatoes come in last the food must be good! The waiter did upsell a lot of the dishes l, but the add-ons (besides the fries) were awesome. The coconut prawns with the side of ginger (or garlic?) was Amazing! I actually liked the grilled cheese with Tomato soup and the prawns and rice more than all the main dishes (tho we also were pretty full by that time). My son had the ragu because his uncle made it for him once and he still raves about it years later. He said it was good but not as good as his uncle’s BUT they did give a huge portion of it. I had the pot pie which is basically like a stew with a crust on top. It wasn’t nearly as big as the Ragu but it was okay because I was pretty full and wanted to save room for dessert. It was good but not amazing. Maybe if it was over rice or mashed potatoes it would be better. I had the rocky road which was highly recommended and my son had the frozen kulolo. They both were very different. The kulolo had a lot of rum with a sort of a kulolo aftertaste. I don’t drink much so I wasn’t a fan. However, my son and I talked about the sweet lady of Waihole and after that everything kulolo kinda tends to fall flat. Anyways the rocky road was very dark chocolatey and had nice homemade marshmallows, which had a nice texture. Like firm fried tofu. That makes it sound weird but I liked it. There was little bits of crunchies mixed in too. But overall I was a little underwhelmed since it got such rave reviews from others. Maybe I was too full. The table next to me had the pork chops and they raved about it (the guy said it was the best pork chop of his life). He didn’t offer me any so I can’t verify lol but in case you were wondering that seems to have gotten a big thumbs up. I recommend coming here and trying lots of dishes!
