We happened to have a reservation 10 days after Angelo had a bad car accident. We had no idea and showed up at our reserved time. Tommy thought he had cancelled all reservations, but somehow, not ours. Angelo was in the kitchen prepping to reopen on Thursday, so we stopped to see him and wish him well. He INSISTED we stay and he wanted to cook for us, because, as he said, "we are like family." Of course, we refused! If you know Angelo, you know our efforts were futile. Out of all that bad luck and pain, he made us an amazing dinner and a memory for a lifetime. And then two more tables arrived...and he did the same for them! Angelo, we love you so very much! We couldn’t have been more pleased! We love the atmosphere! Owner, staff, and all of their special touches were outstanding! We will continue to be committed to such an amazing restaurant!

Absolutely charming experience ! Chef and food was enjoyed by all with great traditional bolognese as well as fresh inspired new dishes. The service was superb and very welcoming of a large family . Will definitely return often as well as share with friends !

We had a wonderful dining experience last night at Chef Angelo's new restaurant, Fiorella's, on Tuttle and Bee Ridge! If you are familiar with the lovely Sofia's Mediterranean Restaurante in Lakewood Ranch, you will love Angelo's new and more intimate restaurant, Fiorella's! Everything was fresh and cooked to order. We felt like we were back in Italy, enjoying the freshest and most delicious Italian cuisine. To start with, they had a beautiful display of anti-pasta dishes to entice us. For entrées, we had Fettuccine Alfredo with (charcoal roasted) Chicken. We also had Chicken Marsala with mushrooms sautéed in olive oil with the most tasty Marsala wine sauce. The pasta for both entrées was cooked to a-dante perfection! Lots of real butter, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil galore! Italian bread was roasted to order and served hot with lovely Olive oil and herbs dipping sauce. Even the cannoli was made to order, served with a crispy shell and a cream cheese filling-- fresh and delicious. We must mention the talented servers and Angelo himself – – how they gave us professional and personal attention and made us feel wonderful !! Fiorella's is a MUST!! Catherine

We dined before the official reopening under new ownership. The chef and his staff went out of their way to provide a memorable dining experience.

Rode around for 20 minutes and never found the place tried calling and got voice mail

OpenTable made a reservation for a place that was shut down! We showed for our reservation and found out the restaurant was not in business an longer. By that time it was to late to get a reservation anywhere else. What was supposed to be a nice Birthday dinner ruined by OpenTable. I would not recommend this service!

KITCHEN? HORRIBLE!! Inedible! Ravioli Vegetables. Hard , flat, dry. I went because of the many 5 stars they had. WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WHO reviewed this place!???? The waitress was the only thing worth anything at this place.

The Burratta appetizer had plenty of prosciutto and a well-balanced flavor. Our mains, Branzino and spaghetti with marinara, were delicious. The tiramisu was freshly made and delicious. The service was good and efficient.

My wife and I try new restaurants every week. What a great surprise. The experience was outstanding. After a nice glass of wine, we enjoyed the mussels in wine sauce which were large and extremely tasty. I had the Branzino (fresh catch) which was wonderful (soft and flaky) served on asparagus along side a dish of pappardelle pasta in a bolognese sauce that had an over abundance of meat which was thick, rich and tasty. A great meal. We'll definitely be back. Don't miss it.
