   We dined here a few months ago and did not enjoy our experience. I left a less than stellar review and restaurant personally reached out to me to ask for details about my experience. We visited again yesterday and were impressed with how much better our experience was. The food (both pizza and pasta) and service were excellent and the ambiance greatly improved. This will now be a mainstay on our list of go-to Italian restaurants.

   Unfortunately our dishes didn’t come out at the same time. In fact, I had to wait probably another 8-10 min for my pasta to come out. That was a bummer and I think should be times better.

   Well, we really used to love this restaurant especially the one on Polk Street. For this particular Noe Valley one, the food quality has gone downhill. Both our pastas were extremely soft to the point of tasting like baby food. Pizza was undercooked and not even hot.

   We visited Fiorella before a concert. For the most part our party had a good time. The restaurant is essentially a pizza and pasta restaurant. There are no entrees beyond pizza and pasta. This was a problem for one of our party who can't eat bread or pasta, even "gluten free" (we knew this in advance, to be sure, because we had checked the menu online, but didn't want to hold up the rest of the party). A couple of appetizers had to suffice for this person. The entrees for the others in the party were enjoyed by them. The restaurant is small and very noisy. The service was excellent, however. The servers did a fine job seating us and attending to our table. There is a fun feature of the restaurant--a pizza "bar" facing the open kitchen at the back where diners can see pizza being made.

    Seems like if you arrive earlier, food is hotter, service is better.
