   They cancelled my NYE reservation with 30 minutes notice. The call I received was meant to inform me that it was a $95 prix fixe menu and it was 18+ that night. NONE of this information was available on their website or Opentable when I made the reservation. The person on the phone asked “did you check our Instagram page?” …As though that is an acceptable way to communicate important information with guests. I received one call prior to NYE with no voicemail message and only a standard text a few days before to confirm the details of my reservation. Needless to say, I was disappointed and annoyed by the service and will never attempt to dine here again which is unfortunate because their menu looks great.

    I reserved over open table a 'standard menu' reservation for New Year's Eve. The restaraunt's listing stated that the normal menu would be available until 8 pm. As we were traveling with a 14 year old and 19 year old with dietary restrictions, I spent hours searching for a dinner reservation where there was not a restrictive set menu. I was asked to confirm my reservation via text and did so. When we arrived on time at 7:15, there was a sign on the door that they would not be serving anyone under 18 and that there was a set menu. The menu had both meat and fish and no substitutions for vegetarians or those with allergies. The maitre d and person at reception were quite unfriendly and stated that they 'certainly would have tried to call us to inform us of the change.' 'I'm sorry, you have my cellphone number and you cannot be bothered to leave a voicemail or send a text message about this significant change to your service on a major holiday? They showed zero hospitality and refused to seat us and the thing which made me really angry was that they were not at all apologetic and made no effort to trouble shoot the problem - they wouldn't even sell us a take away pizza. By the time we could get anywhere else it was too late to access any other restaurant as they seemed to be starting to serve only set menus at 8 pm or were, of course, fully booked because its New Year's Eve! A simple text message earlier in the week would have solved this all, but they couldn't be bothered. They left us on New Year's Eve with no where to eat, no help finding somewhere else to eat and no apologies. We ended up eating cold pizza on the floor of our airbnb, which of course took over an hour to arrive because of the holiday. This place is utterly devoid of hospitality and seems quite inefficiently run. Don't trust them with an important holiday, family event or special occasion; they don't care about you, your family or fulfilling any commitment they make to their clientele.
