We are pleased to bring traditional Italian food from our family to Flower Mound. Fiori, Italian for Flowers, is named in honor of our grandmothers, who gave us their love for great food in their kitchens and restaurants. One of which bears the name of the most famous pizza in Italy the “Margherita” meaning Daisy. We stay true to our recipes and techniques that have been passed down for generations from Italy. We have perfected the traditions in America at our great Uncle Sal’s Restaurant in New York. The photo below shows our father in the early 80’s learning the family pizza and pasta recipes from our famous Uncle Sal. Our father and grandmother Josephine still operate a restaurant in Arizona that is noted as the best Italian restaurant in Phoenix. We are the third generation of our family to share this special part of our family with our guest. Our menu moves seasonally from the spicy summers of Sicily to the hearty winter fare of Northern Italy.

Service was no where to be found. We went as a party of four- two appetizers came quickly and then about an hour later one meal showed up and then a full thirty minutes later the rest of our meals came out along with one other appetizer (that we told them to forget about since it was so late- they told us the kitchen made it, so you get it). There was no apology, the manager never checked in at all. Food was actually very good- but the service will be the reason we will not return.

We had reservations and had to wait 20 minutes at the hostess stand for someone to even acknowledge us. We were finally seated and had to wait another 10 minutes for a server. The server was nice and actually brought us all complementary side salad as we had such a wait. The food took awhile to arrive and only half of it was good. The lasagna and whipped ricotta bruschetta were not good. The other 2 meals were good. I’m not sure if I would recommend

We had high hopes for our Valentine’s Day dinner, but unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. The service was terrible from start to finish. Despite a pre-fix menu, we only received four out of the five courses, with no acknowledgment or apology from our server about the missing dish. The food took forever to arrive, and we had to constantly ask for basic things like water and the courses we were supposed to get. I understand that Valentine’s Day can be hectic, but if a restaurant isn’t capable of handling a pre-fix menu properly, they shouldn’t offer it. The lack of organization and attentiveness made what should have been a special evening frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle. Would not recommend.

Excellent food, always a good evening. Menu rotates occasionally with seasonal dishes - all wonderful. Can't say enough about this little gem.

Our 4th or 5th time back to Fiori. This feels like a hidden gem and I’m never sure why it’s not harder to get reservations here. The food is the best Italian I have had outside of Italy. The pasta and pizza’s homemade. The meatballs are brisket. The bruschetta choices were delicious. I haven’t had anything off the menu that I wouldn’t have again and again. It’s a family favorite and we bring everyone here. Highly recommended. Valentines dinner was the best!

I'm always searching for great, local, cook to order, fresh (farm-to-table) restaurants for my wife and I to enjoy. I reviewed the menu and made reservations over two weeks before Valentine's Day at Fiori. I thought I had found a hidden gem. About a week before Valentine's Day, Fiori called to ask if I would be willing to change our dining time to one hour later. We were flexible and I agreed. During that time, I analyzed the web site menu multiple times and viewed posted interior, exterior and food and drink photos. We arrived 15 minutes early and they immediately sat us. The restaurant was busy and had a lively buzz. We were seated at a small, round table for two squeezed into what appeared to normally be the walkway on a typical night. I picked up a piece of paper designed for Valentine's Day and saw Bread with Olive Oil and Honey Butter as "Course One". Then, saw two or three items each for Course Two through Five. Instantly, I said to my wife, "this is a fixed menu." She knew I was more than a little disappointed. We discussed our options. Walk out. Go somewhere else at 7:00 on Valentine's night. Go home. Or deal with it. When the server finally introduced herself, I explained, from making reservations, to Fiori calling me to adjust our time to their web site, a fixed menu was never communicated. The server returned from talking to the manager and his response was, "the fixed menu was advertised on Instagram." I informed her, I'm not on Instagram. With no good options, we reluctantly ordered. I asked for a "7 and 7", and she had Iced Tea. Ten minutes later the server returned and said they were out of Seagrams. I order a Bulleit and 7. Our meal consisted of the Caesar Salad, one Crab Cakes, Artichoke Dip, Italian Wedding Soup, Tagliatelle with Bolognese, Redfish, Tiramisu and a Chocolate Mousse dessert. Until the entree, the food was just okay. When she tasted her Tagliatelle with Bolognese, she looked at me and offered me a taste. It was bad.

It was a decent experience. The service was great. The drinks were good. We may have had a better time if it wasn’t on Valentine’s Day, because we would have liked to choose from the entire menu. We plan on trying it again in the future.

We went for the Valentine’s 5 course meal. The food was good but not surprising or special, but I’ve found this to be true at most restaurants. I wouldn’t judge the food quality by this one experience. The service was excellent and the ambiance was romantic enough.

Our party of 8 was decently taken care of...large group and nice young lady. Food was mediocre and a bit less consistent than from what others who have visited said. We had been once before and noted food was similar to first visit. We would return, but likely only if a large group was attending.
