   There were aspects of our meal at Firebirds that we enjoyed, but several service-related issues detracted from the overall experience. Upon arrival for our 9:15pm reservation, the atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant was not particularly busy despite being Valentine’s Day. We were hoping for prompt and attentive service, but this was not consistently the case. For instance, after finishing a soft drink, we waited an unusually long time for our server to offer a refill. Eventually, my date walked up to the bar to request one himself, which was inconvenient and disrupted the flow of the meal. The delays continued with my soup, which I had to ask for three times before it finally arrived. The soup was delicious, but by the time it was brought to the table, I was nearly finished with my main course. The steak I ordered was initially very undercooked, but it was flavorful and tender once it was cooked to the correct temperature. I appreciated that the server and kitchen staff handled the correction politely and efficiently. Another service hiccup occurred when we requested an extra container for leftovers. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, my date ended up approaching our server directly, who promptly provided the container before continuing his conversation with his coworker. While our server was very polite and professional, his lack of follow-through on simple requests was noticeable and diminished the overall experience.

   The service person did a great job. Food was good and cooked perfect. My issues are more policy driven. The lighting inside the dining area was too brite. Brite light shining in our face. very anoying. Another Gem was Kids sitting and eating at the BAR. Bartender stated we allow that now since it's overflow seating. wrong answer. They are not allowed within X feet from the bar. You're not a private club so that make it illegal. Also the parent obligatin. Late but not least. You have a nice restaurant but need rules for dress code etc. Otherwise, you're just a more expensive AppleBees. There were two ladies that pushed shopping carts in the place and tried to eat. Wife and I wanted a nice dinner for valentines day. Not again. the prices point to more of a classy place. but that's not the case. ...

   My boyfriend and I went there for Valentine’s Day and even though it was a bit crowded due to it being busy our food was served quickly and our waitress was amazing and got us what we needed quickly! Great service and food. Loved it!

   Our server was excellent! We were there to celebrate the birthday in was offered cheesecake bites for dessert. Our food was very good and came out in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is the restaurant is always cold! We sat beside the fireplace and ask the server if they could turn up the heat and he said that he would try at least. Every time I go it is freezing in there, including the restroom. Dress warm.
