Wonderful experience! We had an excellent waiter (Sam). The food came out correct and hot. Also, he packed up our meals and even made sure we could take our dessert to go!

Visited on 11/15/24 at 3:30pm. The restaurant floor and tables around us were visibly dirty. The table we were sat at was sticky. The service was fast, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a 16oz ribeye medium rare (warm pink center) it was brought to the table rare (I did send it back). I ordered a glass of meiomi Pinot noir, the glass was brought to the table and it smelled like vinegar. I tried to choke it down because I really hate sending things back, they brought another glass, it tasted like a blend, I didn't send it back. I've been to many Firebird restaurants in the DC/NOVA area, this one is the worse.

The food was delicious, we had the grilled salmon, vegetables with a loaded baked potato. The drinks were of an acquired taste but get you there. Overall it was very nice.

Pork chop was dry, steak was unevenly cooked and was served warm not hot. Server didn't check on glass of wine ordered with dinner. Finally getting her attention, she checks the bar and is told wine order was not received due to a system malfunction. Instead of filling order immediately, waited an additional 15 minutes for it to be served. Sent it back as I was nearly finished with my dinner. Questioning whether or not to go back.

Firebird's is one of our "go to restaurants". We have never had a bad experience. I certainly appreciate what they do in support of Veterans. You can not go wrong dining at Firebird's.

I Ordered the chicken, cilantro dish, and the chicken was overcooked and the garlic mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. I did not complain about it because it was a free meal being a veteran and my wife had the salmon and shrimp which was fair. This place that we used to love is now on our bottom of the list and it’s overpriced. I don’t think we’re going back to Firebirds anytime soon. Especially I’m not paying $20 for an appetizer of eight wings.
