   The food was not good. Salmon not cooked, chicken overcooked and the chili was watery. I would have expected more at that price point.

   On December 4, we had a friend’s Holiday dinner at Firebirds. There were 7 of us. My dinner was the following- the bacon wrapped filet in which the bacon was laying flat completely raw on the plate! The Southwest Au Gratin potatoes were burned to a crisp! We called our server and he immediately took it away. Fifteen minutes later the manager returned with my dinner whereas my friends were pretty much finished with their meals. The biggest surprise…I wasn’t comped on the meal or my glass of wine. Everyone was shocked. I should have questioned the server but didn’t want to ruin a nice evening with my friends, The biggest shock is how could they have served this meal? Do they not watch “ The Bear”? Why would the chef and the server think I would eat either of those foods? Needless to say I will never be going back to Firebirds again. With the competition of steak houses in this area - why would I?

   I had the aged ribeye steak. It was cooked just the way I had ordered. It came with only one side and I got broccoli which was cooked just right. I put lemon juice on it which is always good.

   This was a very nice dining experience. We like to visit Firebirds during the Holiday Season, not only for the good food and service, but there is a festive atmosphere in the surroundings. Onion rings are fantastic!
