Le Firefly Grill est un restoroute moderne situé sur les rives du lac Kristie. Géré par ses propriétaires, le chef Niall Campbell et son épouse Kristie, ce restaurant est une oasis de cuisine fraîche américaine dans le cœur du Midwest. Composé de fruits de mer, de steaks grillés au bois de chêne et de pizzas cuites dans un four en brique, le menu du Firefly change tous les jours. Le Firefly utilise des ingrédients locaux chaque fois que possible ainsi que des herbes fraîches et légumes cultivés dans son propre jardin.

We had pork porterhouse and 8oz filet, both we absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic. Both we cooked perfectly. Wish it was closer to our house so we could go there more frequently. Worth every penny.

My husband and I went to Firefly Grill for their Valentine’s Day tasting menu. We’ve been to Firefly a handful of times before tonight for their regular menu, but we were eager to try their tasting menu. They offered a 4, 6, or 8 course option with the option to add wine parings as well. Everything tasted amazing and the wine parings were wonderful. I would love to see them do other tasting menus from time to time.

The Valentine’s Day menu never fails to impress. The Firefly always exceeds expectations. The staff, the facility, the food, all are second to none. Being able to have world class dining in what many would consider a culture desert is such a blessing

This was our second time eating at Firefly and it was even better than the first. The restaurant is gorgeous, inside and out. The service was excellent. While I wish I could recall our server’s first name, I do recall that his last name was Fourbes. He was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly and took excellent care of us. While the restaurant is over an hour away from our home, we will be coming back soon. It was that good!

Sitting at one of the best bars in mid America, I enjoyed the cocktails, crab purse appetizer, and the shrimp risotto. The bartenders were excellent. Top notch experience worth the drive from St Louis MO.
