Went to the Blazing Bright holiday experience. It had a cute menu, but very limited. Our server was incredibly kind but they were way understaffed and drinks and food took forever to come. It's just the bar with cute holiday lights so nothing Blazing Bright that makes it worth an extra effort unless you want a pretty hotel lounge to have some drinks.

We had an atrocious visit to the Fireside's holiday popup bar. We wanted something festive, and this seemed to fit the bill. We all got the hot cocoa bar which over promised and under delivered. Without whipped cream, crushed peppermint, and mini donuts, this was just lukewarm cocoa with sprinkles on the bottom of your mug. Stupid. We were disappointed to learn that the menu during this season is EXTREMELY limited. There were only two entree options, three appetizers, and then drinks. Had i known this, we would have gone just for drinks. Instead we arrived hungry, planning for appetizers, entrees and drinks. As it was out in Inverness, on a busy holiday weekend evening, and one of our three party members hadn't eaten since breakfast, we felt we had no choice but to eat what we could and suck it up or go hungry for the rest of our evening. We ordered the duck potstickers for an appetizer. Hope can you go wrong with potstickers, right? WRONG. They were so overcooked in the fryer that the pastry was caramel colored and hard all the way through. The filling was dry as a bone. We each choked down one and didn't finish the rest. The other appetizers were fried potatoes in duck fat, which didn't sound appetizing, and a plate with burrata and salami with some bread. The three of us ordered roast beast and who hash, which the server, who never identified herself, said it was the best choice. It was nearly inedible. It was a braised short rib with a hash of root vegetables. The "braised" meat came out with a black crust. The entire top 1/4" was completely dried out. I'm talking you could have peeled it off and used it for jerky DRY. It was hard to get past the texture to even evaluate the seasoning. The hash was bland and simultaneously undercooked and overcooked as if two batches were blended to try to find a middle ground between the flaws. This was among the grossest meals I've eaten in Denver since I've moved here.

We went a couple nights ago. I was so excited for the hot chocolate bar. The menu is extremely limited. There were no more than 6 choices- including a few appetizers and a couple $40 meals. Our hot mulled wine was barely warm. Our appetizer was very small and not very good. Service was slow, forgetting plates for our shared appetizer and taking 10 minutes to get them. We left and ate somewhere else. Most of the dining room was dark and creepy.

Service was horrible, 10 minutes from when we sat till someone took our drink order. Got my drink wrong twice, we watched out appetizer make a lap around the bar before it made it to our table. The quality of the food and drink was decent but over priced. They are charged me for the wrong drink. No one bothered to ask if we enjoyed our meal or how we were doing. Just not good at all would not recommend.

My steak was very very small and overcooked :( and the mashed potatoes were tasteless. My husbands cocktail was flat. I get it when dining at a hotel restaurant there are going to be rowdy guest but the group at the bar , especially the women were throwing “ f” bombs most of the evening. The valet was unavailable so after my husband waited a good 10min he parked himself. The front desk attendant wasn’t clear where the fireside restaurant was. He may have been in training.

Menu is too limited. Food was very good. Ambience was kinda strange. A week after Valentine’s Day but still have hearts on all of the tables was weird for a business dinner. Need more variety on the menu. 1 fish, 1 beef, 1 chicken & just a few apps didn’t fully meet our needs.

The special Valentine dinner wasn’t great. The chicken portion was very small for the price. The plate looked very sparse and almost ridiculous with what little was served for $28. It wasn’t busy and service was slow.

Cons: Food was terrible. Shrimp & calamari appetizers, fish dinner (3 diners) Heavily breaded, dry, tasteless - have had 100% better from drive thru. No happy hour. High prices for very poor quality. Pros: ambiance - large windows w/ views of golf course, water way & fire pit. Bar has fireplace and attractively decorated Cupid Pop up.
