The Firkin on Yonge is a more sophisticated and elevated traditional English pub. Located right across from the Eaton's Centre on Yonge Street, just down the street from the Queen Subway Station, we're easy to find! Whether you're out shopping with your friends or you want to get away from the crowds of Yonge and Dundas, we are ready to be your perfect escape. Our two floors definitely get busy during concerts, UFC or sports nights, but there's always space to find a cozy nook with that special someone. Our second floor also allows us to host private events so contact us today to book your birthday, office party or special occasion. Special platter menus are also available for those such events.

We got to the pub early and so it was quiet. Great location, close to the theatres/Massey Hall. Service was fine. Starters were good. Fish and Chips were substantial but did not really like the batter on the fish. Don't know if anyone else is finding this in bars/pubs but the drinks we ordered were not as advertised (e.g., a mojitio with no mint...) and were watery - it did not seen there was any alcohol in them ! This has happened in other places as well. Sign of the times?

We really enjoyed the food, and we were well taken care of by the staff! It was our first time there, we will definitely return. A lot of appealing items on the menu!

Horrible experience and they can’t blame it on being busy because it wasn’t. Now I know why there was an open reservation here. It was freezing cold in there and we were sitting upstairs, close to the kitchen. Terrible service - waited a really long time for our food to be delivered…more than 30 mins for 4 basic meals. And our server didn’t smile once. He did the absolute bare minimum and only because I’m not a complete jerk did I not leave him a 0% tip. Only bright spot was the greeter at the front who smiled, engaged and brought us upstairs.

The food arrived cold- but plates hot. There was a big table and our server couldn’t keep up as they were understaffed. Food was blah but fine.

Good local casual experience and pub fare right beside Massey Hall and across from the Eaton Centre. Great for a few drinks and apps before a show or concert event.

Chicken club sandwich was dry. Bread over toasted. Chicken parm was dry and slightly burned on the bottom. Server did not take our dirty dishes away We ate dessert with our dirty dishes still on the table.

Perfect location for a group of ladies to split some appetizers, pub grub and bevvies before catching a show at Mirvish. Menus were a bit sticky. When we first arrived, there seemed to be some issues with staffing, but the second person that took care of us was outstanding.(not sure what happened to the first one I think she went on break or left or something?) food was tasty and cooked as to what we would’ve expected. not outstanding or anything but absolutely perfect pub experience. Would recommend.

Service was great. We were seeing a show after and the waiter was good at making sure we got our food and drinks with enough time to enjoy! Food was tasty and portions were good.

Small area, limited staff but all very helpful and not a huge delay getting food. Multiple check-ins. Limited food menu and food was ok
