   We were there for brunch. The southwest eggs were delicious! And the house made hot sauce added just the right amount of flavor and heat. The service was prompt and very pleasant. We will definitely go back again.

   Wasn't like over the top on most breakfast food, except the Pancakes...they were awesome and so was the syrup. Service was great and the place was clean, suggest getting reservation, and price was surprisingly very good.    We had a wonderful meal. The food was great. The price was on the higher end for Wichita. The space was medium to small and it was very busy so the noise level was very high. The only draw back was having no area to stand in while waiting to be seated.

   Our waitress, Delilah, was personable, attentive and delved into the story and history behind the dishes we ordered and the culture of the restaurant. We asked about non-alcoholic wine and they had a selection along with non-alcoholic cocktails. The Pinot was wonderful and very much elevated our experience. They refined our home cooked favorites making them not only elegant but delicious. Definitely a dining experience we hope to have again soon.

   We had a very nice dinner at First Mile Kitchen! Great appetizers and entree! Service was very good. Always made sure water glasses were full, but not hovering. Really good drink options and appetizers and dinner spread out just about right and portions were the right size, not to small, but not so big that everyone needed a box. Overall, great time Will definitely go back!

   The food was great but the service was fantastic! I ordered an espresso collins but they were apparently out of an ingredient to make one, and our server overheard my friend joke how I had my heart set on that drink in particular, so he scrounged up one more drink so I wasn’t disappointed and it was so appreciated! Will definitely come again.

    This was my 3rd visit in 6 months to First Mile Kitchen. I’m sad to report that my overall impression from each visit is the same.. underwhelming and over priced.. this is sad because the service each time as excellent and the ambiance great! But the food is so-so. It’s as if each plate is overthought and the attempt is to make a gourmet dish with a variety of spices, sauces etc. but the end result is average tasting food for a PREMIUM price.. and, the wine selection is bland and limited.. probably won’t be returning unless it’s a private party invitation..
