   For a variety of reasons I have not visited this restaurant for several years. I was looking for a place in Aurora to take a friend to lunch. It was well worth the trip - both the food and the service were outstanding!

   Had a great birthday dinner here for our Saturday night reservation. Ordered the brussel sprouts, the PEI mussels, beef cheek, Mediterranean sea bass (the fish special), the squash risotto and finished off with the pasteis de nata. Stars of the night: the squash risotto and the pasteis de nata were fantastic! Absolutely the best pasteis de nata I have had in Toronto. Comparable to some of the best we ate in Portugal. Crust was not greasy, super flaky and the filling was not overly sweet with a consistency that is creamy but not overly thick. (All common problems that we've noticed with the pasteis de natas in Toronto). Risotto was creamy and saucy but not mushy with strong squash flavor. Beef cheek was super tender but I felt the flavor was a bit bland. Our mocktails were also a bit bland based off of their described menu ingredients. We really enjoyed our brussel sprouts as well and the mussels tasted very fresh. Service was great. Charlie was very friendly and professional and offered great recommendations (the pasteis de nata). Thanks Charlie! They also very kindly offered us some port on the house! Portion sizes are reasonable. Pricing is fair. Vibe is great for a date or a more upscale meal. Would return again.

   We had a nice meal at Fishbone Aurora. Our server, Dave, was excellent. Very helpful and personable, he made our evening very enjoyable!

   The beautiful thing about fishbone is the service and food are always above others. It’s a restaurant you can’t get tired of going to.

   First time we went there , booked it based on good reviews. My wife had the chicken and I had Icelandic cod. Both were exceptional. Our server Jeff was very friendly, professional and great service. Would definitely go back again!

   Fishbone never disappoints! No matter which location you choose, you will not be disappointed. First class service. Fantastic food. Phenomenal cocktails. All the bases are covered when you choose to dine at a Fishbone restaurant. Debbie was delightful as always. Very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious. The new beef cheek addition to the menu was yummy! (Not sure about the crispy leeks though) So happy to see the pastel de natas back on the dessert menu too! So decadent! The complimentary white port was the perfect end to a fantabulous lunch. Yet another wonderful experience at Fishbone Kitchen + Bar. Many thanks!
