    Wonderful evening at Fishbones. Food was delicious. Service was very attentive, and manager, Alex, went out of her way to make our celebration special. We’ll definitely be back.

    Made reservation a week in advance and we were seated immediately on entering the door. Our server greeted us promptly and took drink orders. We looked over the menu and ordered dinner when she returned with drinks. She admitted that she was new and it was obvious, but we were patient, everyone is new at some point. We explained that my wife doesn’t do spicy food and asked about the heat level of a couple dishes, decided on what we wanted and ordered. Appetizer came out fairly quickly, followed by bread and salads. FishBones house salad is simply amazing!! When the entrees arrived, they looked incredible. However, the broccoli side dish was completely covered with crushed red pepper. I don’t recall seeing that mentioned on the menu, but immediately brought it to her attention that the spice level was going to be too high and could she bring one without the crushed red peppers. She apologized and said she would get a manager. The manager came directly over and also apologized and said another one would be right out. A new dish was brought out, but it took a while. We found ourselves eating the entrees very slowly, trying to avoid finishing before the side dish was brought back out. Despite this, the food was delicious, as always. My wife had the trigger fish special and it was fantastic. I had the crab cakes and they were equally amazing, but I felt the portion was a little small for the price. We had a neighboring table that was apparently a guys night out for a few fellas and they we were loud enough that we heard every word of their conversations, but this no fault of the restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and although a couple hiccups, we still would choose FishBones for an enjoyable night out.

    A great evening for our Anniversary Dinner. All employees were very nice from host stand to manager. The waitress was fantastic!! 5 stars

    We went there to celebrate my birthday and a belated Valentines. We changed seats one time which they were very accommodating about. We had the seafood tower and it was really good. We also had the trigger fish and shrimp. The strawberry cake with plant city strawberries was outstanding no
