Great spot in all the action of MB. You can see the ocean from here. Parking isn’t too bad for MB, there’s a couple of lots above. It’s very small and tight, so be prepared to be cozy. The seafood is remarkably fresh and tasty. I didn’t think the shrimp was that fresh, but the Maine lobster and King Crab were delightfully natural. The Sea Bass was organically prepared with crisp vegetables and flavorful orzo. I ate the best New England clam chowder with actual clams in their shell in it—astounding. The cocktails were fresh and invigorating—I recommend the Cardi B. Service was ok. It’s a tight space. Our server had the MB snobbery going on, but the other staff were attentive and helpful. The Key Lime pie was the best I have had with an inventive presentation—toasted whip cream, and I rarely eat Key Lime pie. Overall, this is a great place to chill by the beach, impress a client, or romance your loved one. I enjoyed the meal tremendously and will be back.

Quite simply an amazing experience; the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Our server was fantastic, sorry I don’t recall her name. She was polite, friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. The food was excellent, from the Peruvian scallops to the pretzel bread pudding (an absolute must have). Would recommend FWD to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Manhattan Beach!

One of my favorites got ruined by a waitress who just kept pushing me to order. By the fourth time, pushing for drinks, apps, dessert, etc. I about had it. Instead of enjoying my friends from out of town, I was stressed having a waitress hover over me (we were right next to the waitress stand!) and take a nice relaxing experience and make it a bad one. Too bad!!

We. Celebrated the engagement of our daughter and went there for lunch. As always, great service and awesome tasteful food. We ordered the Queen Mary, the octopus and the scallops. All of them were on point and the flavors of the hot dishes were amazing! Clean presentation and on point with the temperature. As always, we leave very happy and with our stomachs full

I loved our sever, but felt the food wasn’t up to her price point. Hope we went on an off day - my dish lacked flavor and others were also bland. The quality of the seafood is there, but the dishes weren’t up to par. would give it another try in the future, maybe my expectations were too high!

Well worth it. Highly quality & good vibe. Great service. I wouldn't sit outside for the price but inside is a perfect night if you're into seafood. Definitely going back.
