Fiume - in English meaning river - is a restaurant concept that merges the authentic flavors of Italy with traditional Texas ingredients. The artisan, Texas-crafted pizza incorporates local flavors that highlight Neapolitan-style pizza in what we define as Texapoletana.
Fiume - also once a city in Italy - was known as a cultural melting pot in the height of its existence. Similarly, the San Antonio River is the core of our dynamic and culturally diverse city of San Antonio. We live in Southtown and love to walk to Fiume for date nights, it never disappoints. Some of the best pizza in town, the Sweet Texas Heat is a must! Great wine selections both from Texas and outside, and amazing people watching on the riverwalk.

My bartneder, Dylan did an amazing job and was very helpful as were the other wait staff. The hostess was bored and annoyed I had a reservation but I also didn’t realize they closed within the hour. I do feel for the staff. This is a casual restaurant on the river walk so most patrons were tourists who’ve never ordered a beer before or had young children up past their bedtime blasting YouTube on a phone. If this wasn’t the environment I would have had a much better experience, but that isn’t the restaurants fault. The Cesar was good, but the dressing was heavy and very mayo-tasting. The Burrata was nicely curated and I enjoyed it! The chicken piccata was dry with nearly no sauce and not what I expected; wouldn’t recommend it. The drinks were great with lots of options and they weren’t overly sweet. I’ll definitely be back to grab another one and try out the pizzas as that seems to be their specialty. Even with all that said, the staff was amazing with the challenges the guests presented them, they were patient and kind to everyone and I was very impressed with them.

Drinks were really good. Pizza was exceptional. My only negative was how cold it was inside. But not really a negative

The service was outstanding. Accommodated very well. The mixed drinks were perfect. The pizza was some of the best we’ve had! Beet salad was amazing. Would visit again!

Had a yummy night at fume our first time there our server Calvin was perfect. The mushroom pizza was amazing and so was the burrata salad great ambience nice date night.

Service was a little slow, but the waiter told us they are short staffed at the moment and the serve was very apologetic.
