Fiume opened in 2013 and is located in Compton, Owners Stefano and Carla welcome you to enjoy quality, modern interpretations of classic dishes inspired by their home regions of Sardinia and Basilicata.

As Italians we are passionate about everything we do and food and drink are hugely important to our culture as we meet with friends and family to enjoy our time together. At Fiume you will experience a little of this culture as we share it with you. We provide authentic Italian cuisine with a southern Italian influence and a fresh twist.

We are proud to be an independent, family-run, Italian bar and restaurant offering you a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere. During the good weather, you can also dine alfresco whilst watching the passing canal boats and your family dog can watch with you too.

    Disappointing experience. The valentines night set menu offered a poor selection of mains, with only one meat dish out of four options—and that required an additional £10 on top of the set price. While I was aware of the menu beforehand, I had hoped the meal would still be enjoyable, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. I’ve dined at this restaurant several times before, ordering from the main menu, which offers a great variety and is usually very good. However, the limited choices on the set menu were a letdown.

    The food was excellent and I will definitely return. It being Valentine’s Day the restaurant naturally wanted to maximise their profit. I have no problem with that, but it did feel a little rushed. However, I can’t fault the food or staff 👏🏻

    great tasty food and was worth the money as not overpriced and great service too. will be visiting back soon!

    The only problem was we didn't have any napkins on our table and it went unnoticed. Otherwise service was great and the food was beautiful.

    Yet again the food was unbelievable and easily my favourite restaurant. Staff are also all fantastic. Surprised us all by singing happy birthday to my wife in the big 40. Thank you again and see you soon

    Always a great experience! Food was lovely and service great. 2 in our party hadn’t visited before and they were really impressed. Will definitely be back
