The food and ambience were great. I appreciated the gluten free desert. I would highly recommend based off the service, food and ambience.

Made a reservation for 6:30 Sunday evening. We didn’t get a table until almost 645. They weren’t busy, so I am assuming understaffed because they seemed to only be seating people in certain areas. Our server was difficult to find at times. We never got a refill on our 5 dollar Pepsi. We selected an appetizer based on the list of what was still available provided to us by our server. She returned to the table shortly after we ordered to informs us they were also out of the appetizer we requested. My wife’s food order was incorrect, but they didn’t charge us for their mistake; so that was nice. Wouldn’t recommend that espresso rub. It rendered the stake bitter and inedible. I ordered a 14 oz prime ribeye that was about 60 dollars. I’d have to say that although it was seasoned well and cooked to requested temp, roughly 50 percent of the steak was inedible fat. We waited to eat there because we like to give new restaurants time to work out the kinks. Clearly they haven’t done that yet. Won’t be going back.

No complaints! Food was delicious and well flavored. The chimichuri preparation was a bit on the oily side for the steak. Waiter Jacob was wonderful and always came by with a smile. We will visit again.

First time experience, overall was great, except the food. I ordered the tomahawk and it was served cold... For the price of $130 that's an expensive cut of meat to be served cold. I can't say it was warm, because the more you ate the colder it was. I didn't complain to my server as we had several couples around us and I am not one to make a scene... overall great experience but spending 250 dollars for 2 people for that experience is a one and done for me.. not sure i would recommend to others. My reservation was for 445pm 2/15.

We went for the Valentine's prix fixe menu. First course, duck confit, was pretty bland and came out before we even got drinks. Second course, oysters rockefeller, was VERY GOOD. Third course was a salad which was fine but it came before we even finished three oysters. We asked them to pace a little slower (as did the table next to us when they received salads before they could even dig in to their second course.) The servers obliged. The fourth course, filet, was fine but nothing exceptional for the price but dessert was downright disgraceful. I ordered the creme brule with mixed berries. It was thin with barely any hard shell topped with a messy smear of tasteless berry puree. It looked like they did a sheet pan of creme brulee and then cut it out with a cookie cutter and used a spatula to place it on the plate. My husband got the strawberry cheesecake with chocolate ganache. The "cheesecake" was more like a mousse that was piped on to a plate. It was reminiscent of a JELLO no bake kind of dessert and was topped with a very thick rose shaped gelatin mold. Other than the novelty of the shape I have no idea why it was included. It was tasteless and chewy. We didn't enjoy anything about the desserts. The atmosphere is great and the service was fine but the food was so very disappointing, especially for what we paid. This could be a fantastic addition to Fredericksburg but not without some kitchen changes.

The waiter got one of our orders wrong with a side dish and it took a while for him to come check on us after the food was delivered for us to tell him. It is a high profile restaurant, beautiful, classy and bougie. It would be a special occasion place for us because of how pricey it is.

We had a wonderful dinner for my husband’s birthday. The old fashioneds were great! Steaks were delicious. And service was perfect.
