   Service was exceptional. Emma was polite, knowledgeable and showed just the right amount of attentiveness without being overly pressured. Food was excellent and service was well timed between courses. Truly a very enjoyable experience.

   Emma our server and was outstanding. We booked through “ OpenTable” which maybe was not the best way to do it ; I believe we got the worst table in the place! We were initially seated right beside the front door, which was freezing We were told nothing else was available. Eventually, we got moved to another table, after we begged Emma to talk to the hostess . I had the Braised beef it tasted kind of “freezer burned “ but the mashed potatoes we good. My wife had the chicken gnocchi ,which had so little chicken in it that it seemed like “false advertising” but she enjoyed the flavours anyway. We are regular customers at Bocconcini’s and prefer the food there , but thought we try the Bistro because of the common ownership a change of scenery.

   There was only one staff that we saw the entire time we were there. She was lovely but it took a very long time to place our order and a very long time to get our food. When our food did come only 3 of the 4 meals were served and we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for the last meal. When the last meal arrived it did not include the sweet potato fries as we were told they were burnt so they were making more and would be brought out later. I ordered the falafel wrap and it was very disappointing. Only one falafel in the whole wrap it was mostly lettuce and I ended up eating it like a salad. 2 of our party had the focaccia sandwich and they were both disappointed as well. When I went to the bathroom it looked like coffee had been spilled on the toilette I looked up and the window seemed to be rotting and dripping. Overall I was not impressed and would not choose to go back.

   Diner was absolutely delicious! Me and my family enjoyed it very much. I’d suggest the chicken burger, which comes with pickles, coleslaw and cheese on it 🤤 10/10 would recommend.

   First off let me say the service was very good. We both ordered the red wine braised beef with roasted root vegetables and mashed potatoes. The roasted root vegetables consisted of 4 three inch strips of of julienned carrots period. 2 asparagus spears were served but asparagus is not a root vegetables (only the above ground portion is eaten so it is classified a spring green). The biggest issue was the beef which was very tough (well up the chewy scale). The chocolate brownie desert was very good.
