Under the culinary direction of Chef Somoza, Flora’s menu captures the spirit of Mediterranean seaside towns from Saint Tropez to Capri to Marbella, spotlighting the bountiful seafood and vibrant produce that are hallmarks of coastal cuisine. With a passion for fresh ingredients rooted in his childhood in the Spanish countryside, picking wild blackberries and foraging mushrooms and wild asparagus, Chef Somoza is drawn to local, farm-to-table cooking.

The Flora menu is made up of regional ingredients such as sweet corn, seasonal vegetables and fruits, local seafood and small farm sourced meats, and is anchored by a crudo bar and fish main courses including Dover Sole, Bank Scallops, pan seared halibut. A skilled pastry chef and boulanger, Somoza is also putting an emphasis on quality breads and an impressive offering of house-made pastries and ice cream, and the most delicious creme brulee.

Food was spectacular and service was outstanding. The ambience was welcoming and very elegant. Highly recommend this restaurant. Overall experience was excellent.

Great experience from start to finish. Friendly and attentive staff with great menu insight. We were four and shared the ceviche, fall salad, buratta and butternut squash salad, and Spanish-style garlic shrimp as our first course. Incidentally, their house-made sourdough is excellent. Three of us had the filet special with creamy mashed potatoes and broccolini; the fourth had the chicken paillard, which was excellent. The house-made ice creams were very good, white pistachio and a RI-only Autocrat coffee milk. The crème brûlée, however, was very sweet. Definitely go.

Perfection!! Our waitress, Hannah, was amazing. Surf and turf was to die for. Holiday decorations were incredible. Thank you for a magical New Year’s Eve!!

Great service and vibe with absolutely overpriced C- food. Mushroom soup was inedible, like a bomb of salt… I ordered a $46 paella which had undercooked rice and overcooked seafood, lobster was like a rubber band. Sad- cause it was chock full of seafood. Would not go back

Drinks were excellent, would not rush back to eat there. I ordered the mushroom garlic rigatoni dish , unfortunately did not like it , it was very watery without much flavor. I usually don’t speak up but I had told the waitress but she didn’t see to care too much about it which was disappointing. With it being a more upscale restaurant I expected more. A plus was the place was beautifully decorated for Christmas

Such a great find as a way to celebrate a wonderful Christmas visit with my mom and in-laws! Our reservation was at 4:30pm which, in December, gave us an amazing view of the sunset over the water. Everything was tasty- great cocktails, the best oysters I've ever had, and entrees we all appreciated. One of the stars was my mom's dessert- sticky toffee pudding. Posh, wonderful, and a great way to impress our Texas-based family members.

Lovely Christmas Eve dinner. Food was excellent and the decor was so festive. We frequent Flora. Never disappoints.
