We visited here 4 months ago and had a great selection of food and quality. Whatever had happened in the following months I don’t know, the charcuterie board was an insult, cheese was dry and uninspiring. Chicken wings lacked flavor and Brussels were burnt. Sorry we will not be back!

One server taking care of the entire restaurant. Food was small portions and burger seemed like it was frozen and reheated. Not worth the price in my opinion

We had an excellent dinner experience! We were a big group and they were able to seat us. We tried a few different cocktails and they were all delicious, so highly recommend the bartender for a dirty martini, the panic at the pisco or the espresso martini. The food was delicious! We tried a variety of appetizers and entrees. Its high quality food and well priced everyone loved their plates. Overall highly recommend Flying Bull for drinks and dinner.

Really wanted to like this place that is so conveniently located to the Carolina Theatre (and much more) downtown. Got seated quickly but that was the last thing that happened quickly... despite not much of a crowd (on a Sunday evening) we waited a good 45 minutes for food. Our shared small plate for the table came out scant minutes before 3 entrees... and then we waited another 5+ minutes for the 4th entree to arrive, so the first ones were cold. Kale caesar salad + chicken... the kale leaves needed to be chopped into something close to bite size. Curly kale is unwieldy to stick in your mouth and it can't really be cut with a table knife, so the kitchen needs to prep it appropriately. These pieces were simply too large to eat. Zucchini noodles with tofu... 3 chunks of tofu over what is best described as a "dab" of zucchini noodles. Okay if it were listed as a small plate, but it was an entree. Smash bacon burger, with stale bun, was the best of the bunch... though, pet peeve, it came with zero sides included. Ditto for the brisket sandwich. Server was pleasant but never checked back with us after the food arrived. That's a fail every time. Overall, hate to complain, but there just wasn't anything redeeming about the evening. Perhaps they were short-staffed after a long weekend of Valentine's dining, but we won't be giving it another shot. It's sad when you literally have to make a stop after dinner for more food but that was our experience here.

Went for brunch. Crab cake Benedict was pretty good. Being served a clearly burned chicken sandwich was disappointing. They did replace it (better), but honestly how was this served.
