   Experience was overall slow. It took 10 minutes just to get a drink menu. We liked the ambiance and there was a guitar player, but anytime staff would transfer items through the courtyard it was very loud and you could hear the clanking of their metal carts. Everyone was looking at them and distracted during dinner. I liked the three course Valentine’s Day menu, but would have liked the option to choose that (Which was $150 pp) or something off the menu. Also the price of the three course pre-fix menu was not displayed so it was a surprise when I got the bill. This was a one and done experience.

   I think the one not great part of eating inside is the smell from the kitchen. I know it can’t be helped but the smell of fish cooking takes away from the dining experience.

   One has high expectations on a restaurant at Biltmore. This did not meet that expectation. The service felt like an afterthought. Service staff confused, took a way 1/3 of bottle of ordered water, bread came out after appetizers. Not sure I would come for lunch again. Said all about the service food was good and nicely presented.

    Food was good. We felt like the usual servers were off or working a party somewhere. Service was slow...he must have asked 20 times "everything good?" a bit too much! We ordered coffee to have with our desert and it came out 15 mins after our 2 key lime pies. We should not have what I call food bingo...where the server(s) call out the dish to try to figure out where it goes on the table. If you're going to make us sit for 2 plus hours in metal chairs in the courtyard, you should replace and increase the cushion depth on the chairs! It was a very special occasion and I was embarrassed to have my mom and dad from California there with the lack of service. I would not take my visitors there again to count on an exception experience. We are members and this was the worst that we have had there! Something has changed! Figure it out!
