Welcome to Food with Varinder! I cook for you the way I cook for friends and family when they visit my home. The menu is varied, indulgent, comforting and surprising. I also never give my guests a choice in what I make. I decide everything and make sure the taste, flavour and texture combinations work together. However, if you have any food intolerances or follow particular diets, please let me know when you reserve your table – by filling in the comments box. I will always do my best to make sure everyone enjoys everything!

We went for lunch. The menu is set by the restaurant. All the dishes were delicious. Server very friendly and eager to explain the dishes. Small cosy place. When we were there we were the only ones, but I've heard at dinner it's quite crowded. Only complaint is they had no herbal tea, only decaf coffee as a hot drink without caffeine.

If you are looking for the ultimate vegetarian experience,than this is the place to be in Leuven. The combination of the Persian,Indian and English kitchen results in a mixture of colours and flavours on your plate. The menu is fixed ,so you can not choose ,but what they serve you is a beautiful pallet of different little plates. The chef gives you an excellent explanation of what you have in front of you. What is also nice ,is that they work only on reservation. On a Saturday night in Leuven you otherwise experience a coming and going of people,looking for a place to eat. Here you can enjoy your meal in a cosy and beautiful house. I can assure you that you will not regret a visit to this restaurant. And I will certainly go back.

The food was excellent and surprising. A true explosion of tastes. Free extras are served when requested. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quiet. As one minor negative detail, the mocktail we ordered was too sweet for us. We ordered it as we did not have a good overview of the selection of drinks available. It may help customers to have an overview of the drink selection so that they can decide based on the selections available.

Delicious food in a historic and homely setting in the centre of Leuven. Highly recommended!

Perfect lunch. This is good which makes me happy. It is in a beautiful historic house in Leuven. Very friendely and welcoming. It feels like eating at a friend’s house. Absolute value for money!

I absolutely love the concept of this restaurant! It feels a bit like stepping into someone’s home for an intimate dinner party. There’s no menu—you simply enjoy what the kitchen prepares for you, with any allergies or dietary restrictions thoughtfully taken into account. I personally love this approach; it takes away the pressure of choosing and lets you fully enjoy the experience. And the best part? The food is absolutely delicious! Every dish brought to the table was a delightful surprise, and the flavors were spot-on. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with incredible food, this is definitely the place to try!
