Owned by Chef Allen Hess, FORC brings farm to table in the heart of Waimea. FORC showcases a farm to table aspect by bringing fresh harvests from Farmers, the Ocean and Ranchers. By changing our menu seasonally, we are able to get creative with what Hawai’i has to offer us. Local style brunch items like our FORC signature sandwich, brown butter banana pancakes and our housemade bacon. Hearty seasonal dinner dishes like our Big Island grass fed beef, whole roasted fish, and Chef’s Hawaiian Meal. There are vegetarian, paleo and gluten free options too. When this restaurant first opened, it was excellent but things have dropped off a bit lately. The service is still good but the food is not what is was at first. Hopefully they can improve.

A locally owned restaurant that has great food. Staff was very friendly and the service was great. The food was excellent and the portions were very good. Prices were very reasonable, we will go back for sure. Well done Forc.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant and are so happy we came. The food was amazing and the ambience was relaxing and comfortable. The waitstaff were kind and attentive even with the holiday. We can’t wait to return for the seasonal menu!

We have patronized a bunch of the known popular venues and this is the best of all the big resort competitors. (Better than Bdown’s beach house, Meridia, CanoeHouse) Local chef, a local menu that is truly farm to table, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a kabob with shrimp, steak and ahi with a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed two salads (beet was so good, it is easily enough to share) A lovely offering of sides, including a baked seasoned pumpkin which was delightful. Totally solid for kids, steak and mash was perfect and the pineapple and strawberry sorbet was a great finish. Chef/Owner came out and greeted us. We may go again tomorrow for their “happy hour, french dip”

Staying in the Hapuna Beach resort area, where the restaurants are pricey and the food options just aren't great. We drove to Waimei on recommendation from a guide we worked with and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere at FORC was welcoming, and the food was outstanding, with options we loved. The service was exceptional, and the value was excellent. Best meal we've had in 4 days in a resort.
