   We went for my husband’s birthday. They had a Valentine’s menu which was quite a bit more expensive than the usual menu and a bit too much food for me. The scallops (starter) and fish (majn) were fantastic but I didn’t enjoy my dessert. It was a vanilla bean soufflé (quite eggy in flavour) and a rather overpowering rose water ice-cream. The cheeses were excellent. Would definitely go again, but not on Valentine’s weekend. Service was very good. The tables are very close together (not helped by all being set for two given the themed night) which is slightly awkward.

   Small menu selection but each dish carefully thought out with individual parts all contributing to the overall distinctive effect. A dining experience to savour and remember.

   We had the Valentine’s Day lunch menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and although it was busy, the table service was attentive but not overbearing. It was a cold day, and despite wearing a jumper I was rather cold inside the restaurant. The tables for two were rather too close together to feel a romantic Valentine’s Day vibe.

   Wonderful dinner at Fork, fully lived up to all expectations and reviews we had already seen online. Questions we had about some of the ingredients were fully listened to and one of the chefs even came over to our table to give us a breakdown and some alternatives which was greatly appreciated. My only feedback is that we found the breakdown on our final tab a little confusing to understand as one of our party had 3x courses and the other only a main, but it was fine, just felt it could have been communicated clearer.

   Really enjoyed my first time at Fork. Food was very good, wine list impressive and the service very pleasant. I'll be back.

   Very good food, the chef adapted the dish in order to cater for my allergies. Very pleased, nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou.

   This is an absolute gem. The food is cooked to perfection, the value for such high-end produce superb, and the service is attentive. Just can’t fault it. Fork is very special. Congrats to the team for making our first visit such a wonderful experience. We will be back. David Clarke Lewes

    We very much enjoyed our evening at Fork. Even though it was a quiet night (Tuesday in January) this intimate restaurant was warm and inviting. My partner and I were both pleased with our choices; each dish was well presented with imaginative flavours and textures. The service was just right, friendly and attentive but not intrusive.
